     What does his ethnic/religious origin have to do with it? Ed Miliband is Jewish too, and it hasn’t helped him, has it.

   It shows that there are slimy, wormy politicians who can’t give a direct answer anywhere. But at least he persists, not like the “journalists” in Malta..

     Michael Howard wasn’t/isn’t at all slimy and wormy. He just couldn’t answer that question, but by failing to answer it, he did so.
