Oh, what deja-vu

The future
Here we are in the kitchen, eating pumpkin soup while silently and with a certain degree of trepidation listening to awful Labour parliamentary speeches on an old, nearly forgotten radio that my husband pulled out of some dark cupboard in the workroom.
The online streaming keeps breaking up, so it’s back to basics and with a vengeance.
What memories. Bad ones.

Daphne, your radio is probably asking “What, are they back in power?”
I am listening to some good music – the government will be OK.
The end of the world is in 2012, and if it doesn’t happen then, Joseph Muscat will be given a chance to do it in 2013.
I am tempted to turn off the mains power, light a couple of candles and put on a kerosene heater to complete the nostalgic picture.
Now where’s that Desserta chocolate gone?
They’ve added a second stream on parliament.mt. The service was hopelessly overloaded on Friday as well.
