So nobody pulled any stunts

Now the Labour Party has to go back and explain to the credulous why it is still in Opposition.

Look at this man on Jeffrey’s Facebook wall, for instance:

Gerald Muscat

Dan Gerald Muscat ma haqqux jigi innominat ghal Gieh ir-Repubblika?

Do such people really exist? I despair and cry for my country.

When Dr. Muscat was being interviewed outside Parliament, it seemed to me that all those surrounding him had been instructed to wear forced grins, in order to appear confident and contented by the evenings developments.

Even Joe Debono Grech was almost cracking a smile, but couldn’t quite ‘keep it up’ for the duration.

Anglu Farrugia stood there with his smuggest of smug looks, almost cheek-to-cheek with his leader, making sure he was in centre-shot (I wish he’d bring back the ‘tache – his maturing hair colour would make him look even more like Swiss Tony).

[Daphne – http://epguides.com/SwissToni/cast.jpg His maturing hair colour, I strongly suspect, is being given a helping hand. Do I detect a tinge of blonde highlighting there?]

Various others stood around with glazed expressions, as if they’d either spent the whole debate in the parliament bar, or just popped a couple of happy-pills.

Gerald – probabbli semmewh ghal Lord Strickland lil dan u nahseb li tant ghandu mohhu maghluq, li l-inqas jaf min kien.

Pullicino Orlando should be asking himself why PL supporters put so much hope in him and expect him to be the one to bring down the government.

Has he been leading them on, perhaps? And if he has, is it appropriate behaviour for an MP?

  7. ciccio2011 says:

“The problem of Labour is not Joseph Muscat. It is Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando.”

  8. Dem-ON says:

@Gerald Muscat: Would you like a couple of Botox injections and some Hyaluronic acid filling thrown in as well – it might just keep Jeffrey away enough to bring down the government.
