Here is the latest in a line of Labour MPs queuing up to worship at the feet of a bronze statue of Lorry Sant, erected through the good offices of his long-time sidekick and current Jason Micallef ‘friendy-wendy’, Ronnie Pellegrini.
It’s Joe Cilia, dak li kien ma’ Gorg tad-Downuts.
What dreadful posture, incidentally.

No one can deny that Lorry Sant, I am nauseated even mentioning him, was the worst of the worst politicians that Malta had ever seen.
Then we get exponents of the progressivi placing flowers at his feet.

Imagine if he were alive and they could send him bouquets of flowers on Facebook, like Consuelo Herrera did to his sidekick, Ronnie Pellegrini.
I’m not so sure Ronnie didn’t used to send Lorry flowers.
Will Lorry Sant again alienate floating voters, even after his death?
What we know is that, even after his death, Labour is doing its best to secure the votes of those who still see him as a god because he had rendered them some political favour.
Joe Cilia is not an MP. He is an aspiring MP. This bronze statue of Lorry Sant should have been erected at the yard in Corradino Facility. It would have been much more a befitting place for this statue. After all Corradino Facility is within the district Lorry Sant used to contest.

Lorry Sant was the nastiest politician in Malta’s history. We must never forget the past like many are urging, if we do, it will repeat itself.
