[Daphne – Taf li le, jahasra. Imma naf xi ftit nies li ghandhom il-blufimm tal-mummy ta’ Byon Jo Zammit u l-bqija tal-pom-pom girls, li kienu ghamlu fil-Macina mas-segretarju propaganda tal-Partit Laburista.]

Blue film fil-Macina? Wow! How progressive is that.

But that was the age of Dallas so they had to act like those untypical Texans(the real ones are God-fearing Republicans) to look progressive.

Ara Fredu Farfar Cuschieri as Father Christmas tal-partit tal-Hakkiema..

Why are they wearing crocheted scarves in rastafarian colours?

  4. Super pics. Yuk.

Off to watch St. Nic arrive in Fribourg this evening with my Swiss grandchildren.

He arrives at the cathedral riding an ass and accompanied by a black Satan who scares the shit out of the kids.

Oh so Labour. Tried to find an elephant, but no luck.

I remember the band marches of the Banda PL in the 70s. Repeated playing of Innu Tal-Partit and another band march which had lyrics to it.

Hara, kemm huma hara ta’ Borg Olivier..repeated ad nauseam..

Yep, looks like Farfar all right. Another gem from Hal Qormi.

    • cat says:

What surprises me is that this Farfar is not only popular in Hal Qormi but everywhere in Malta.

[Daphne – Really? I didn’t know who he is, or that he exists.]
