Jason Micallef: the signs are all there that something has gone VERY wrong

Jason Micallef has 4394 Facebook friends, but they do not include the ones you think would be first on his list.

Search for Joseph Muscat, Anglu Farrugia, Toni Abela and Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi and you won’t find them. He’s either ‘unfriended’ them or he never ‘friended’ them at all.

Worse still, he doesn’t even bother ‘friending’ them just to pretend that everything is all right and that the chairman of the Labour Party’s broadcaster hasn’t parted company with the Labour Party while retaining control over the party’s television and radio stations.

He doesn’t give a damn that somebody might notice. He’s probably glad we did.

Last Tuesday I voiced my concern that Micallef did not feature on Super One’s day-long fundraising marathon for the Labour Party, despite his being the chairman and a real showman.

On his Facebook wall, there are no posts for that day and no mention at all of the fundraising marathon anywhere on his Facebook page.

You’d think that the Super One chairman would be the first out there promoting his station’s big event.

Now all we have to do is find out why he’s sulking and why he’s sent his party bosses to Coventry.
