The Labour Party got itself a phone company before it learned how to spell. Nice priorities.

Perhaps they meant to blow the winner sky high.

  2. Matt says:

    Oh, skiing.

    Skying in Bulgarija. Nice Price.

    • avb says:

      “At Bulgarija”

      • K.P.Smith says:

According to Michael Lewis, author of ‘The English verb’- An exploration of structure and meaning and other grammar related lit.- ‘At’ is a grammatically correct preposition when ‘in’ness is not the focus of the sentence (even if MOST native speakers would raise a confused eyebrow at its use).

Even though the example above is most definitely a total fluke.

  5. Pecksniff says:

    Perhaps “skiving” !

  6. tinnat says:

Surely they’re talking about a trip to the Earth’s outer atmosphere using cutting-edge technology. Coming to think of it, that’s not a bad idea for the Labour Party.

  7. Vanni says:

Can you just immagine their reaction:

    U iwa, mhux xorta.
    Laqwa li ftehmna.
    Kemm gejjien b’nejk.
    Hadd ma jaghmel zball jaqaw?
    Qahbec ta’ Inglizati.

And in time honoured fashion, by attacking the critic:
Ma ghandiex x’taghmel din dal ghodu?
    Maghna ha taqbad illum.
    Kemm hi spizjara.

  8. Kenneth Cassar says:

Winning a price. Does that mean the winner gets a quotation or a brochure?

  9. Neil Dent says:

Seems the FB page is run by a chap named Quinton……

    Yet:
    “Redtouch fone
Get a chance to fly over to Bulgaria for a skying holiday when you LIKE the new REDTOUCH Facebook Page!”
    Just 2 hours ago.

    They just don’t get it.

  11. Nicky says:

    It gets worse and worse!

  12. Stanley J A Clews says:

Going by air all the way

  13. C Falzon says:

It makes me wonder whether they actually spell the ‘fone’ in their name that way intentionally.
