Karmenu Vella on his Facebook wall:
Mark Zuckerberg pls note: Doesn’t make sense. Facebook is reminding us of all the birthdays in December – all except the biggest of them all – of The One born on the 25th!!
If Karmenu Vella is taking an interest, then you just have to wonder: is there any money in it?
As if Facebook was designed for narrow-minded village thinkers like him and so many other Maltese, who squat on their walls talking to the same people they’ve seen that morning or who they will be seeing that evening, and who believe the whole world is what they know.
Oh, and somebody please tell Il-Guy that Mark Zuckerberg is Jewish. Not that it would make any difference.

Karmenu Vella, pls note: Jesus Christ is not a Facebook client. Mark Zuckerberg.
Oh, yes I am.

Hmmmm!!! Wonder if he’s limited to 4,999 friends!
Oh, the Chinese have faked everything.
Because only Christians are advanced enough to have access to Facebook. Those medieval desert-wanderers and those tree-huggers in the East still use the abacus and messenger pigeons.
And then they start fuming and frothing at the mouth when the PN speak about religion. Some lack of hypocrisy would be appreciated for once.
Yes, the first part was meant to be sarcastic, just in case anyone was wondering.
Mark Zuckerberg has recently said that he will be celebrating Hanukkah and Christmas this year as usual.
Are you sure he didn’t say, “Have nookie at Xmas”?
Perhaps he can add it on his timeline when it’s rolled out next week. It will be fun to scroll through his life events in the 70s, 80s, and 0AD.
Jesus Christ was Jewish too.
[Daphne – Yes, David, we know that. But here’s the thing: Jews don’t celebrate Christmas.]
I thought he was Palestinian. You know, with a bushy black moustache and a pot belly.
There were Jews in Palestine.
I just cannot take this “politics and religion” any longer.
It’s enough to have lived through the divorce saga with our Prime Minister taking on the role of defender of the faith, now we have Karmenu Vella invoking e-Christ.
And just when we were getting over Blair’s religious hogwash, there goes Cameron and does it again. Look where all the Christian democracy has gotten Europe.
[Daphne – Christian democracy got Europe extremely far. All you have to do is consider the alternatives elsewhere, even if the historical perspectivec doesn’t interest you.]
Japan has not been doing too badly over the last decades. And then again if you remove protestant Europe from the equation, then the situation is even bleaker.
Karmenu should stick to trying harder with that electoral programme.
Karmenu Vella pls note: That One was not born on the 25th!!
Still hard at work on his party’s economic master plan, I see,
When the Great Plan is ready for dissemination you’ll know. It will begin with a ‘Listen very carefully, I shall say this only wence.”
