You’re not alone: Silvio Parnis is with you, ready to catch your mice and bring your pills

Silvio Parnis set up a stall in Valletta some days ago, cashing in on the Christmas spirit to collect donations for his charitable foundation, the purposes and administration of which remain fairly mysterious.
He took the opportunity to plaster the walls of his booth with photographs of himself (in case punters failed to recognise the man behind the counter) and with his name.
Majtezwel pick up some votes while you’re at it, eh.
Here’s his message on Facebook, where he uploaded this picture.
Minn qalbi nixtieq ngħid GRAZZI lil dawk kollha li ġew fuq l-istand tal-Fondazzjoni M’Intix Waħdek -il bieraħ il-Belt Valletta.

Very soon, the brand Silvio Parnis will be more valuable than the Partit Laburista brand.
And they say natural selection works.
It works. But natural selection is not about the survival of the fittest. It’s about the survival of those who adapt themselves best.
I thought it was about humans becoming smarter and fitter, and the dumber, uglier ones being weeded out. This will earn me thirty lashes from the PC brigade, but our parliament is a living advert for eugenics.
Charles Darwin’s magnum opus is certainly not perfect.
There are exceptions.
Is “M’intix wahdek” a registered volontary organisation?
Is he selling kisses to raise funds? That sign says ’10 Euro G R A Z Z I’.
M’intix wahdek was his programme on TV, a mix of sob stories, evangelical preachers and phone-ins.
