If this man isn’t careful, he’s going to find himself having a serious run-in with that awful harridan-wife-minder of Angelik’s. Don’t they live in roughly the same part of the woods?

But Franco’s plastic Madonna will weep bigger tears and they won’t be made of sunflower oil. They’ll be made of Chivas at least.

He is living under the “xibka tal-hazen (evil)”

[Daphne – Mur arah ministru, mela, b’dawk il-problemi. He’d be spending half his time at home under the duvet, unshaven, and the other half hyperventilating into a paper-bag.]

He would make a top minister, attending top important meetings with his top ringing switched-off mobile phone.

He would make a top minister, attending top important meetings with his top ringing switched-off mobile phone and with his top student Form 2c report.

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

He is so tops in everything that sooner or later, he’ll top himself.

        I’ll. Get. Me. Coat.

    • Ed says:

‘Dawk il-problemi’, are health issues that people have to live with everyday.

I write as one who has suffered from an anxiety disorder and panic attacks for the past six years, and I do not believe that this condition would make me a worse minister, or anything else for that matter.

There is more than enough to pick on in this situation without having to resort to such comments. Please do be more considerate, the disorder in itself is enough to have to live with.

      • Jozef says:

        Ed,

isn’t this what we’ve been saying all along? If Franco’s suffering from panic attacks shouldn’t he ask for help?

Has he asked himself whether the attacks result from impulsive decisions taken in the worst possible mood?

        .

      • La Redoute says:

Ed – no one’s making fun of Debono’s panic attacks. You sound lucid. Franco Debono doesn’t. Enough said.

      • Dave says:

Ed, did not want to hurt your feelings, so I apologise. However I believe there are other things affecting him. Probably you would do a better job than some of the MPs.

It’s how Franco is trying to look a top person.

  3. John says:

You sought the limelight….now deal with it, Franco!

  4. Kenneth Cassar says:

The little prick won’t stop whining.

  5. Antoine Vella says:

An anxiety attack implies that Franco Debono is not thinking clearly. Why does he object to people saying he’s not in his right mind then?

  6. Rita Camilleri says:

    miskin – qalbi gunglina igibili.

    Lanqas jifhem x’inhi l-vera tbatija.

  7. Li Ding says:

Follow this pattern: low self-esteem, then depression, then anxiety and bizarre behaviour, then paranoia, and finally the big whack. ’nuff said.

  8. mc says:

Miskin dan Franco. Ghidulu jieqaf jitkellem dwar it-tbatijiet tieghu ghax verament qed ibikkini. Jien ma niflahx nara tbatija daqshekk kbira.

  9. Angus Black says:

His statement that he suffered more than Austin Gatt during the Socialist regime and under a Nationalist administration is a crock of sh*t and clearly shows that he is not playing with a full deck.

Suffering because he was not made minister?

Suffering because from day one, he proved to the PM that he was not a team player?

Should assholes be appointed ministers now, just to keep them happy?

He may be suffering from other ailments such as that he cannot make decisions even at personal level, let alone if he had to make critical decisions as a minister.

His extra-long engagement, leading to nowhere fast, proves the point.

[Daphne – He’s not even engaged, Angus. That too would require a decision. He dates her – for years.]

Can you imagine Franco as prime minister making tough decisions like Dr Gonzi had to take during the Libyan crisis?

  10. Mercury Rising says:

And we have to suffer him.

  11. Joey says:

Suffered under MLP and PN. Ma sabx kappel jigieh!
