Well, he’s got one thing going for him: his surname is not Zobbi, but Debono.

On second thoughts … maybe not.

Daphne, you probably read this already, but I’m sending it just the same.

[Daphne – Her powers of observation were never too acute, which is a great shame, because her writing is pretty good.]

Very funny indeed. Probably Dr Gonzi is “rolling on the floor laughing” looking at this and other parodies. What is, however, serious, is that our government rests on only 34 out of 69 MPs. Some stability here is called for.

In Facebook I’d usually click ‘Like’.

Albert, indeed stability is called for and with urgency. The stability of Debono’s mind, that is.

Poor guy doesn’t even read the blogs where negative comments about his behaviour are running five to one against him. And the ones who favour his actions are either identifiable by their pre-Debono saga anti government comments (PL) or naively sign (ex-PN) hoping to pull wool over our eyes. To them I say, nice try, now go back to Joseph’s herd.

While Joseph fans the fire, he also states that ‘he is in no hurry for an election’. Even without public knowledge, anyone would have guessed that the two are like peas, err pricks in a pod and shared the same classroom in their younger years.

Debono’s constituents have started a petition asking for his resignation from Parliament. How about starting another one asking the school to remove his (and while at it Joseph’s too) name from school records? Getting 100 in religion on one midyear report is not stellar by any means and his boasting about it, on national television no less, proves his limited mental capacity.

Franco, spare us the trouble and – PN kick his ass once and for all. There is nothing to lose at this point and losing Franco is just like going to the dentist in order to rid yourself from that awful toothache. Franco, you’re history (soon forgotten) and the very mention of your name gives rise to contempt.

  6. George says:

Well I wonder who is going to laugh last. Mocking him and his family will create more instability, that’s for sure.

[Daphne – Au contraire: look where NOT mocking him got us, George. He should have been bollocked and mocked out of town from day one.]

Daphne – I think all the members of the Nationalist party should thank Dr. Franco Debono for giving Gonzi a good reason to go for an early election. Facing an election now is so much better than facing an election next year when we will with all probability be in a deep financial crisis. Now that’s just my opinion.

According to Maltastar, there is a plan to “demolish” Franco Debono. I wish they’d employ someone who can string a sentence in English
