So he said he does not need to see a psychiatrist.

And there he was, yesterday evening, in a psychiatric session with Norman Hamilton.

Then there are the other psychiatrists on Inkontri, Realta, TX and Affari Taghna this week.

Allow me to say that we should be extremely careful when using such phrases like frankuni and manikomju. Unknowingly we might be fuelling the stigma which continues to add to the suffering of patients with mental health problems. I am posting this comment with all the good intentions.

Better still, it was actually called Ta’ Franconi.

The Franconi Sanatorium – Ta’ Frankuni
In 1835 a large house in Floriana was transformed into a home for the insane and the patients were taken
there from the Ospizio towards the end of 1837. The building used to be the residence of a Knight of the
Order of St. John, Bali Fra Fabrizio Franconi and that is the reason why it bears this name
