She Who Shall Not Be Mentioned By Name

No, Daphne's the one under the other bag, but we don't mention her name.

Oh look. Now even The Times are doing it.

Nationalist MP Franco Debono said this afternoon he has had The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, which he took with him to Parliament yesterday for years and it was a constant reference for him, especially in difficult times.

The book, by Sogyal Rinpoche, led bloggers this morning to wonder whether Dr Debono was conveying a message by taking that particular book with him to Parliament.

‘Led bloggers to wonder…’: were there any others, because I hadn’t noticed?

Sigh.

Daphne, they are treating you like a Goddess. “Thou shalt not mention Her Name.”

Mr Cassar: as far as I know, blasphemy is not about expressing one’s opinion about another religion, but about mocking any religion. I would agree that mocking any religion should be made a crime – not just Catholicism. On the other hand, when I see ina certain local blogger making mockery of Christ crucified, making jokes about it, and no police action being taken, then I truly believe that the blasphemy laws are not being enforced.

[Daphne – Jahasra. To think that some people actually want to live in a society like that and see it as a positive and good thing.]

To live in a society requires some respect and social competence. Something which makes us human. Unfortunately you are showing us the lack of both.
