AHNA WARAJK, SILVIO!

This is a festive photograph taken at one of Silvio Parnis’s latest fund-raisers at Il-Palazz ta’ Rahal il-Gdid. One thing’s for sure: il-Ministru tas-Sawt is not going to convert to Islam and blow himself up, lest the room full of virgins that is his reward in heaven turns out to be something like this.

Getting close to JPO’s “insertion of a variety of objects” watershed.
Qawwu qalbkom indeed
Something worth noticing. There is not one instance, in the Koran, which says that the virgins have to be females.
Some suicide bombers might be in for a surprise.
[Daphne – Read the Koran a lot, do you? In Arabic?]
Have you missed out on the description of the virgins, as well as that of the “pearly” boys in the Koran?
Issib ghetto ghal kullhadd hemmhekk, bhal Fondazzjoni Idejat ta’ Joseph..
Back to basics? Back to Libya? Why not read the little book by Mr Kim as well and illuminate us as to what he promises the North Korean martyrs? Kimchi for all and sundry?
..Issa xi ghajta Korea fil Mediterran jonqos. Jew nohorgu mill-EU u nidhlu mal Maghreb
Daphne. I hope that the fact that I mentioned the Koran does not make you think I am a Muslim, just like when I mention Mussolini it made you jump to the conclusion that I am a Facist.
I’m sure you must have heard of Christian Democrat.
Good to see and hear that such feasts are still possible in these times of mass starvation.
Among them there are probably the first, and last, generation of Labour’s Pom Pom Girls.
I split my coffee all over my keyboard. Can you imagine them coming to the coffee morning in their pom pom uniforms?
Sorry about that, Rita. Now put your coffee away for the next one.
I heard that at the Macina, they used to wear no uniforms.
He is usually elected on first count votes. Sonia’s work gives him results.
Hmm. Lower left-hand corner, right beside the border, sitting down. The youngest one in the hall, and cringing with embarrassment.
She really does not look excited about Silvio.
I share her pain. My parents would also drag me off to their horrible outings back when I was a nipper.
Joseph Muscat’s nanna used to drag him to Mintoff’s horrible meetings when he was a nipper. He used to enjoy himself.
Suppose the bomber looks like, say, Toni Abela – what’s in it for the virgins, I ask.
Aren’t they also supposed to be in heaven?
X’nostalgia, ergjana lura ghal-Coffee Mornings tal-KMB. Izda fuq il-pozittiv mid-dehra ser imur tajjeb il-kuntrattur tal-Plastic Roses din is-sena. .
With all the hunger and deprivation that is rampant in Malta under Gonzipn, one would have expected Silvio’s followers to look more like these;

“Ahna quddiemek, Silvio.”
Xi gmiel ta’ gersis homor… tghix xtrawhom bis-sejl?
Baghtuwomlom is-sinjuri tal- Korea ta’ fuq meta AST u Joe infurmawhom li hawn Malta kullhadd b’sormu barra u mejjet bil-guh
Brilliant picture. I thought the red was being removed from Labour activities.
Seems as though Silvio has to ensure to keep the mortality low in the Sawt as most of the people in the picture seem to be verging the end.
The placards remind me of the Alfred Sant debacle when he addressed these same people in Valletta after the elections.
Bejn il-kliem u il-fatti hemm bahar jikkumbati.
Oh dear, how pathetic!! This photo makes me cringe..
It looks like the PN is being abandoned like rats from a sinking ship and it seems that Malta will be lumbered with ministers like Silvio.
The PN is behaving as if they have already lost the election.
This week I attended a social (non political) function. I was left aghast when hearing someone who is forever boring everybody stiff with his name-dropping and bragging of his good (and not imaginary) contacts with the PN’s INNER circle, dominating the dinner table conversation by extolling Dom Mintoff’s manifold virtues as a statesman and politician, insisting that The Times building and the sacking of Fenech Adami’s house did NOT happen during Dom’s tenure as prime minister, and then going on to refer to certain internal PN party matters that he had no business to discuss in a restaurant full of people.
“”Chi va con lo zoppo comincia a zoppicare” was the logical conclusion made by most of his dinner companions when due consideration was taken of the sort of political tv station he has been frequenting of late.
@NOTMLP
I do not agree with your ‘zoppicare’ theory. in this case. I would say that the more you hear, listen and watch, if you can take it that is, the more you will realise that there is no option. Remember those wise words “Ma jinbidlux” They still stand.
@emuscat In this case the “zoppicare” theory is the most likely. This person was NEVER ever a Labourite was not born in a Labourite family either.
The more the Labour Party bombards us with stupid messages and emails, the more it puts us off. Now I have received birthday greetings from Joe MIzzi on my mobile phone, but I have never spoken to him, and I receive emails from Kurt Farrugia on my private email address without having given my consent as a recipient.
And I have received a funny – as in odd – leaflet from star candidate Chris Fearne – it-tabib tat-tfal. What next – am I going to receive others from Anthony Zammit it-tabib tal-imsaren, l-iehor it-tabib tal-grizmejn.
Imagine if the Minister of Health were to do the same thing: leaflet minghand it-tabib tal-mohh.
Lined up next: Labour candidates describing themselves as it-tifel tal-perit jew it-tifel tad-direttur. We already have it-tifla tas-Salvatur.
This Mintoff and Lorry Sant style will continue to bring to their senses many who thought that a change of leader and emblem signified a change in mentality.
As for that Yana Mintoff, may I ask where she was when her father was compos mentis, and why did she come to Malta only now when he is not. Once a Mintoff always a Mintoff.
Meno male che Silvio’s c’è. With one difference, Italian Silvio’s women are slightly better looking than this lot !
Italian Silvio’s parties are so popular that they are attended by nuns.
