It’s August wedding bells for Botox Jeff and Carmen

Who'd like to compensate Jeffrey for his services? Please form an orderly queue.

You can’t keep any secrets in this place.

Before Jeffrey answered my question, somebody else (very reliable) had done so. Jeffrey has booked an August wedding celebration.

Well, now we know why he’s so keen to get the prime minister to take a decision on a general election.

Ma jmurx Carmen tkun fuq honeymoon u ma tistax tghin il-Joseph.

Now all Jeffrey has to do is ensure that between now and then she runs into nobody else who can compensate her for her services better than he does (see previous post). Miaaooowww – but boy, does he ask for it.

Shouldn’t he be busy with the preparations for the wedding, rather than spending his time on Facebook telling the prime minister when to call an election?

Oh how sweet! He will be marrying dear Carmen who was cheering for Alfred Sant as a Laburista while he was crying at Mosta. He’s a good Christian after all, since he forgave her for that.

  3. Grezz says:

Botox Jeff, eh? He should try using it on that awful fat trap of his, and give us all a break.

Adrian, what makes you think that he is a good Christian, since he forgave her? It could be that she is a much better Christian and forgave him in kind. Una vera figlia di buona mamma.

  5. Matt says:

Daphne, is Marlene one of the bridesmaids?

Is Alfred Sant the best man? Just wondering out loud.

Probably Jeffrey wants to tie the knot with Carmen before Labour is elected to government. He knows that once he is out of parliament and more so, his one-seat majority, he will be just a dentist again and no longer useful.

Carmen might find herself tempted to move on to the next sponsor/comepensator for her services, who will furnish her with something much better than her current position as a marketing manager at Yellow Pages or a director on the Zammit Clapp hospital board (the last position she held during 1996 -1998 thanks to a close Labour minister), or her position back then at the National Tourism Organisation of Malta when Karmenu Vella was minister.

But then again, marriage was no impediment to Carmen’s ambitions the first time round, so Jeffrey isn’t really on solid ground there either, and now there’s divorce.

Jeffrey is definitely not a strategist when dealing with people like Joseph Muscat, Evarist Bartolo, and his ‘beloved’ Carmen.
