Re Noel Farrugia, currently in Libya with AST, Il-Guy and Muscat
In The Sunday Times today:
Documents seen by The Sunday Times dated June 5, 2008, show that Noel Farrugia had presented himself to the Libyans as a potential Labour spokesman for “all Africa” in the event of Joseph Muscat being elected Labour leader.
Mr Farrugia had written: “Contestant Joseph Muscat has agreed that if he should be elected I will be the MLP spokesperson for all Africa with responsibility to create relations with African leaders. Of course, this would give me the opportunity to make (sic) a very special relationship with the Great Leader of (the) Libyan Revolution Colonel Muammar El Gaddafi.”
However, Mr Farrugia was in fact given the post of Labour spokesman for International Development Aid.

I wonder whether AST and Karmenu il-Guy have taken with them their pictures with Gaddafi and his group taken in Malta during the Mintoff regime.
Also, I wonder if Noel Farrugia would tell the NTC leaders that he was running an activity in Malta, agreed to between Sant and Gaddafi, and financed from the Green Book funds.
Also I wonder whether this time round the NTC leaders will give an exclusive overview of any agreement they have in the offing as he claimed Gaddafi did during his first visit to Libya, which was arranged by AST.
Has anyone ever heard him addressing Parliament on development aid during the budget debate? He’s hilarious, incoherent and disjointed.
