No wonder they changed the flag and banned the master of ceremonies from leading chants of Viva l-Labour. All that can wait until they’re first past the finishing line and then they can explode.

Tal-biki. The worst thing is that soon we are going to cry more, when they are in power.
The EU flags amidst the torca ones are a touch awkward.
At 0:57 somebody had an internal battle with his own instincts to stop himself from downing that EU flag
That was the parade of the proverbial “sacrificial lamb” – it’s meant to be burnt at some later stage.
Kollox jaghmlu ghal poter, anki biddlu l-arma u bye-bye ingravajet homor – imma skond partitarju Laburist Mintoff hu l-Mulej. X’faqar ta’ hsieb.
At that point he should have been asked what he had thought when Alfred Sant called his ‘Mulej ta’ Malta’ traditur.
….and it indeed IS a vision (vizjoni) because it appears that it is visible to him. I am still waiting, with bated breath, the unveiling of these radical, earthquake-inducing, shattering proposals which should make Malta the land of honey and milk.
It is easy to criticise but I have yet to see one realistic proposal.
Fact is, the PN has been in power for the past 20 odd years. Till this very day, we still hear of projects and initiatives and ideas and, even though I am a harsh critic of the PN (has horrible communication skills, for starters) I still see (as distinct from “feel” o”believe” that this is the better choice. I have no proof, not even in the form of simple proposals, that the PL will better.
For me it is just logical.
Well, you can’t say that their campaign for the EP was not a major success. In fact, they managed to elect more MEPs than there were EU flags in that manifestation.
Ray Azzopardi’s ‘sinjuri’ is so Wardakanta 79, gives me the heebie jeebies.
It was 4 not 3, actually.
[Daphne – It was three at the time, Martin. And I wouldn’t boast about the cabbage who came along later if I were you.]
