Joseph’s looking at Austria for social mobility. Must be the burghers.

Dead easy for the North Koreans.

  9. Sigmund says:

    I’m crying ….

  10. Monte bello says:

I can just see the sort of people who would sing and clap along to this little ditty that’s been designed to incite further division and hatred.

  11. Paul Bonnici says:

‘Ghaliex ahna kolla maghqudin’ sends an alarming signal to democracy. They should be united but there should be room for dissent and for people with different opinions.

This songs sends a message of intolerance.

  12. H Mizzi says:

Thanks for this advert in favour of Labour, Daphne dear.

    • Not Tonight says:

In favour? You’re kidding us, right? Who, in his right senses, would want to associate himself with these Neanderthals? And as for the lyrics, Labour’s tinktenk must have really racked their miniscule brains to come up with them. Really witty. You must be so proud. Povru!

      • Not Tonight says:

Did I say ‘racked their brains’? I might just as well have used ‘wrecked’. It must have really hurt.

    • Natalie says:

Qed nghidlek, taf x’riklam. Iqabbaddlek bard issemmix.

  13. Phuuu ghalihom says:

Isma Mrs. Karwana Galzija, hi, d’il kanzunetta tal Jurovshin?

  15. Antoniette says:

Innizzluhom darba ghal-dejjem? So Labour’s going to copy the example of its friends in North Korea…again?

  16. Andre says:

  17. The Phoenix says:

How obvious is this? Trying to get him to vote against the money bill by appealing to his bravado and stoking his paranoid streak (“Confidants who spoke to MaltaToday” etc.)!

    • Antoine Vella says:

As soon as Franco Debono confided in the ‘confidants’, they made a bee-line to the media to disclose what he had just told them, presumably in confidence (they wouldn’t be ‘confidants’ otherwise).

if we are to believe Malta Today, that is.

  20. Wenzu Cole says:

I love how it goes faster towards the end…. It’s like let’s just get it over and done with.

  21. GD says:

    Ibki Malta, u ara x’hemm lest ghalik mil-partit neo-Mintoffjan, filo-Korejan ta’ Muscat.

  22. Hibernating from Malta says:

Worse than ‘ma taghmlu xejn mal-Perit Mintoff’… at least that was the 70s…

  23. Anthony says:

The intellectual depth of the lyrics merit a Phd dissertation. To put things in perspective, wouldn’t ‘maghqudin’ translate as ‘thick’?

  24. Anna says:

If these people had no vote, then I would consider them hilarious

  25. thinker says:

I am sure that they were joking around when they did this song…. it just cannot be for real..

  26. malteser says:

    I am physically sick.

    • Not Tonight says:

And mentally numb. How many millions are we spending on education? Utter waste of money.

      • Anthony says:

Peter Serracino Inglott’s idea of a university taking in thousands only succeeded in churning out thousands….of morons.

Or so it seems to me.

  27. denis says:

Maqghud, bhal halib tal-bott wara xaghar stagnat.

  28. Joe says:

This song shows exactly why Labour’s not fit for purpose. They are more concerned to bring down the PN and win the government, rather than having a strategic plan of how to govern.

  29. Dandu says:

Mistoqsijja: u wara li tiehdu l-gvern, x’ se taghmlu?

  30. grezja says:

Zgur mhux se nitkaxkru daqs il-P.L. Ilkom imbenglien mill-1987, neqsin 22-il xahar.
