Joseph and Michelle, leave those kids alone
At a talk on dementia where neither of them were even scheduled to speak and needn't have been there.
When it’s time for children to sleep, they should be home, sleeping in their own beds – and if their parents must go out because they have commitments or need a break, they should ring for a babysitter.
That is not even necessary in Joseph and MIchelle’s case because they live in the Muscat family complex with at least one set of grandparents on tap.
Taking your children to the front row of a talk on – of all things – dementia, organised by your political party’s ‘ideas foundation’ – then having them sleep on your lap is entirely inappropriate and, a far worse crime in my book, TOTALLY NAFF.
Only certain sorts of people do that, Joseph and Michelle. It’s pointless buying the car, the clothes (well…), the swimming-pool, the places at an independent school, the posing and the pseudo-lifestyle if you’re not also going to pick up the behavioural codes.
And another thing: don’t stick your children in our faces all the time, on television, at conferences, and at talks on dementia, and then claim outrage when people discuss them.
You’re not the Obamas and this isn’t the United States. This is Europe, where politicians shield their minor children from the press and don’t use them as vote-catching handbags.

Just another prick in the wall.
Joseph was possibly there to pick up a few tips on how to enhance and expand their selective dementia, e.g. the rubbing out of the 22 month period MLP was in office led by Doktor Alfred Sant, also the arson attack on the Allied Newspapers building in Valletta, the vandal attack on the Curia in Floriana in the good old KMB days, the destruction of PN club premises – many repeatedly – in the Oh Zmien Helu so beloved by il-Guy when that miserable old miser Mintoff was in government – all incidents perpetrated by MLP supporters who enjoyed factual immunity from investigation, much less prosecution, at the time.

I think the Muscats should be repremanded officially by the children’s rights groups for depriving their children of their sleep for mercenary party propaganda purposes.
