Yesterday was Europe Day, and instead of setting fire to the EU flag like those scenes from 2003, the Labour Party club in Valletta hung one off the balcony.
Ghax hekk jghid Joseph: kollox ghax-xow.

Walking down Republic Street late morning, I noticed this, and was amused. Walking back up 30 minutes later, the flag had been removed. I was bemused.
Possibly the big boss must have passed by, and they sounded the all-clear.
Does that sign of the Partit Laburista affixed to the facade above the flag comply with the regulations?
No, current policy prohibits fixing of signs and AC units onto facades, especially at first floor level.
This to enhance the older painted manifesti and old metal signs.
The metal ones fixed to Delia’s furniture shop, behind the Palace corner with Merchant’s street, would be preserved.
If anything, in this case they should have kept the old one.
Kemm huma ipokriti dawn tal-Lejber. Insew meta l-istillel kienu jarawhom fil-bir?
Insew it-tghajjir li kienu jaghtu lin-Nazzjonalisti ghax riedu jdahhluna fl-Ewropa? Insew dawwn is-salt gakbini socjalisti u mhawdin tal-Lejber? Ahna ma ninsew qatt.
It seems like China just joined the EU.
