How Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith sees himself (very different to how others see him)

Martin Luther King: how Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith sees himself. Unfortunately for Neo-Fascist Jeff, he's black.
Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith has posted this on the wall of a Facebook page called Liberal Maltese Nationalists:
It is so much easier to conform, to abide by ‘the rules’, to unquestioningly follow…..Non-conformists do not have an easy life. Martin Luther King was assassinated for peacefully militating against racial discrimination, St. Francis of Assisi was beaten up by his father when he started acting ‘differently’, Columbus faced mutiny for insisting that the world wasn’t flat, Gandhi suffered for labeling imperialism as being intrinsically evil………….but they acted as catalysts for change.
Don’t for a moment imagine that he conceived this or wrote it himself. It is not his use of language, even if the American ‘labeling’ were not a glaring clue.
Jeffrey: a legend in his own mind.

Ara vera tilifha! Qed jghix f’ dinja ohra.
JPO comparing himself to these great men. Why did he bother to quote these men when all he needed to write was one name. JUDAS.
@ edgar
Actually, if you had to go by the real Hebrew meaning of the name and not by the historical implication, Juda means Praise or Thanks.
JPOS deserves anything but praise or thanks.
It would be more appropriate that he uses the name ALVA.
This is a variant spelling of Hebrew Alvah, meaning “evil, iniquity.”
He has been driven by eny and hatred, and his actions have proved that the end justifies the means.
“The moving finger writes; and, having writ,
moves on; nor all your piety nor wit
shall lure it back to cancel half a line,
nor all your tears wash out a word of it.”
(Omar Khayyam)

Perhaps the spirit of whisky illuminated him.
Let’s add “hypocrite” to the already long list of adjectives that one thinks of whenever his name pops up. “Great” is definitely not in that list.
This is what he wrote with reference to FD on the same FB page on 6th May:
“One hopes that this signals an end to the uncertainty we have had to experience over the past few months. The country needs stability in these trying times.”
Hypocrite, bloody hypocrite.
Jeffrey, those were REAL men.

They acted as catalysts for change because they had a good cause to fight for.
Unfortunately, JPOS hasn’t told us what cause he’s fighting for … or what suffering he has had to endure for being a (self-proclaimed) non-conformist.
Please Jeff, do not walk out of Pieta’ butt-naked with a couple of sparrows perched tweeting on your head.
It was bad enough with Francis of Assisi in the Zeffirelli film.

Is he comparing himself to the great men he mentioned?
Just for the record, Columbus wanted to “measure” the world’s circumference. Everybody knew by then that the world was roundish.
Yes – sort of like il-Bocca.
What is it that JPOS is doing “differently” for which we should raise him to the status of Luther King, St. Francis, Colombus and Gandhi?
Thankfully he did not include Jesus Christ with that list. Franco would have.
The Bondyloo Times had reported extensively (and exclusively) on this matter. But it’s never too late for The Notepad – it’s a scoop with a year’s lifespan:

Even I Had A Dream.

Even I Had A Dream.
“How different things would have been if John Dalli had won the election for party “leader”
I was expecting this phrase to continue with something like – and Jeffrey was ostracised from the PN for not telling the truth to his Prime Minister on the Mistra scandal.
NOTHING PERSONAL. When Judas betrayed Jesus there was nothing personal. He did it for 30 pieces of silver. At least Judas understood the full magnitude of what he had done, and took appropriate action.
What a slob. He could have at least tried to make his cut-and-paste quotation look his own creation. But we would have caught him anyway. These thoughts are too high-minded for our JPOS.
“Martin Luther King was assassinated for peacefully militating against racial discrimination”
Actually Martin Luther King was doing fine for years fighting against racial discrimination for blacks.
What got him killed was that he decided to also fight for poor whites as far as joblessness and low wages were concerned. It did not take long for the powers that be to realize that he overstepped his mandate and had to be removed.
