Jeffrey, tell us whether you will respect the decision of the PN executive council
So far, so democratic. Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith has written to the PN Executive Committee requesting the expulsion of Richard Cachia Caruana, and asking for this to be debated at the next meeting.
Now we need his commitment that this is not just a mise en scene, and that he will democratically respect the democratic outcome of the committee’s democratic vote.
If he doesn’t, then we will have further proof that he is not really a democrat at all, but a petty little drunken dictator who insists that the world must abide by his decisions.
“If the PN doesn’t expel Cachia Caruana as I told them they should, then I will bring down the government.”
“And Joseph Muscat will give a nice job to my wife Carmen.”

This has become a Greek tragi-comedy with JPOS playing the main role. Does Malta really deserve all this?
Yes, etil, Malta and its people deserve worse than this.
With all this happening around us, the PL is still leading in surveys.
And the worst is still to come should the PL win the next general election.
Then there will be no place for regrets. We would all have to lump it and live with it.
So far for the Nationalist supporters who are saying that they will not vote.
Mistra here we come.
Mrs JPOS II irvinatu.
Meta r-ras t’isfel tkun fil-glorja, ir-ras l-ohra titlef il-memorja.
Can the PN executive council simply reject the proposal and refuse to discuss it?
It is an outrageous proposal and it should be ditched and not discussed. Then we will see JPOS’s next move.
I’m sincerely hoping that Gonzi is seeing a clear way ahead to which none of us are privy.
These buggers have been wiping the floor with Gonzi as their mop all throughout this term and have been causing the party to lose votes like a runaway river.
I can’t take any more of this, and I’m less than a nobody. I can’t even begin to imagine what he is going through.
If he hasn’t thrown in the towel after all this mess, he MUST believe he can prevail.
He MUST.
Otherwise, what’s the point?
The fact that he’s been elected to serve the full term.
That’s the point. He is NOT being allowed to serve. He’s been using a lot of his energy to try and control these uncontrollable mavericks.
