Let’s quote Jeffrey’s words back at him, shall we?

Published: June 20, 2012 at 4:29pm

“Criticising a person politically is one thing but to destroy or discard them simply because they do not bow down to you is unacceptable and anti-democratic.” – Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, in The Times today.

Now, here’s the thing. He seems to think that he and Jesmond Mugliett (and others) were not given cabinet portfolios because they do not bow down to others.

Perhaps they should examine their behaviour, their personality traits, their weasel ways and the fact that they cannot be trusted. Would the prime minister have been in his right mind had he given a cabinet position to the man with the Mistragate scandal, a man who misled his political superiors when they found out about it not through him, but through the then Labour leader?

Would the prime minister have been sound had he entrusted Jesmond Mugliett with another cabinet position after the repeated scandals connected to his transport and roads ministry before 2008?

No, and no.

These men’s opinion of their own worth is remarkable.

I seem to remember the nationwide sense of approval for the prime minister’s decison, a few weeks after the general election, NOT to make JPO a minister IN SPITE of his strong showing in the polling booth.

Kudos for the PM for doing what was morally right at the time.

Wasn’t Jesmond Mugliett a Mepa minister in the past?

JPO said he believes Wikileaks. It is a pity that he didn’t believe the reports of the Mistra case.

I feel very sorry for the people who voted for this maggot, as I’m sure he has evoked in them a latent sense of utter shame.

    [Daphne – Damn right.]

I feel extremely sorry for the people who found themselves in hot water as a sequela of his antics trying to push his Mistra project.

Remember that some people at the MTA were even prosecuted for corruption. One of them even stated under oath that he was persistently pressurized by JPO for a positive outcome of this project.

They have been mired in their shit for so long, they mistake it for pure honey.

Pullicino is not crying in front of cameras this time. How much he cried because his Mistra project was scuppered through exposure by the Labour Party. Now he votes with them.

Imagine if they had exposed his Mistra project AFTERWARDS, when Gonzi had made him a minister already. Why doesn’t he see what a catasrophic effect that would have had, and how he would have been obliged to resign before he was sacked?

Honestly. Isn’t that what he has done?

Once more Daphne keep up the good work, and for the sake of many “DON’T YOU STOP”.

The opinions these “men” have of their own worth is not just “remarkable” – it is blatantly outrageous.
