Malta’s youngest prime minister was 35, not 39

"Damnation!"

Muscat’s panic at trying to force a general election before his 39th birthday in January, making him prime minister at 38, is utterly pointless.

Dom Mintoff and George Borg Olivier both became prime minister at 39. Mintoff was born in 1916 and became PM in 1955. Borg Olivier was born in 1911 and became PM in 1950.

But the ship for youngest prime minister ever sailed for Joseph Muscat a few months after he was elected party leader, and since then it’s been too late.

Ugo Mifsud was prime minister from 1924 to 1927.

I’m not a lip reader, but “S**T!” looks like a more suitable caption – and do not forget the quotes, else someone may think we’re being descriptive.

He wants to be the youngest prime minister of a free Malta.

Has Jeffrey botoxed Muscat? He can’t seem to move his mouth properly.

He can always try to make it as Malta’s youngest Labour Prime Minister, to Mintoff’s damnation, right?

The position of the lips recalls an “O” followed by a “Sh” sound. Who knows what it might be? Chances are that it is in Maltese as he appears to be making a public speech. Any guess?

I believe I have inspired you to come up with this article about Muscat not being able to become Malta’s youngest prime minister as Ugo Mifsud holds the record to date at 35 years old.
