Mamma mia, what a dissembling, manipulative woman
Back in January, when Franco Debono was playing at the dance of the seven veils and suggesting that he just might bring down the government, Labour’s website Maltastar ran a story in support of him.
And Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith’s long-term lover posted this comment beneath:
Carmen Ciantar

you have all my support we need more people like you in this country….am not giving you the support because i support the labout party but because i like the way that you beleive in what you say .that,s what i call a real man……and a member of the cabinet…well done..
I don’t usually describe women with the noun for a female dog – you know, the sisterhood and all that, coupled with a lifetime of keeping dogs – but this time the temptation is very strong. I’ll resist it.
If I know anything at all about Carmen Ciantar, I know that there is no way on earth she admires Franco Debono or thinks he is A REAL MAN AND A MEMBER OF THE CABINET.
It’s just that she has had around 25 years of experience in stroking the very fragile egos of vulnerable men, to her own end and purpose.
Now, at last, I have found the reason for Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith’s competitive hatred for Franco Debono, the way he always has to pull a (bigger) stunt within days of Franco pulling one of his own, and his vicious, contemptuous put-down to Franco before he began speaking in parliament on Monday, 18 June (“Aqtaghha! Jekk ma tafx toqghod man-nies…”).
I thought it was completely disproportionate and out the blue. Now I know why it happened.
This is how JPOS reacts whenever he imagines that somebody is after his Carmen or if he thinks he has been eclipsed, however momentarily, by another man in Carmen’s eyes.
It’s the real reason he hates Alfred Sant: not because of the Mistra scandal, but because Sant, when he was party leader and prime minister, used to summon Carmen to HQ to seek her advice.
Any mention of this sends JPOS into a frenzied rage.
This is one sick individual. Or maybe I should say two sick individuals.

I really struggle to understand how it is possible for a Nationalist MP to have an ex-wife who is a Labour MP and a prospective wife who is also a potential Labour candidate.
Surely if he finds so much in common with Labour candidates he must be an MP for the wrong party.
Right.
He likes some rough.

Then I think JPOS should love us. We are not after his Carmen.
But what do we know about Joseph?
