Jason Micallef promotes his ideals on Facebook:
Insib min jgħidli, imma dan int xi tridu? Ħallihom jagħmlu, ħalli l-affarijiet għaddejjin, ara kemm qegħdin jattakkawk għax qiegħed tieqfilhom! Le, jien qiegħed fil-Partit Laburista għax tabilħaqq nemmen fil-ġustizzja, fil-ħaqq ta’ veru, mhux fuq il-karti. Jiena nemmen fl-ugwaljanza mhux biss bejn is-sessi, razza, jew reliġjon, imma nemmen bis-sħiħ ukoll li l-Laburisti huma kapaċi daqs kull Nazzjonalist ieħor, jekk mhux aktar.
“nemmen bis-sħiħ ukoll li l-Laburisti huma kapaċi daqs kull Nazzjonalist ieħor, jekk mhux aktar” – and he thinks he’s the right poster-boy for that, no doubt.

‘fil-ħaqq ta’ veru, mhux fuq il-karti’
Sounds like someone’s gauging the grassroots.
Jason Micallef clearly suffers from some kind of inferiority complex.
No wonder he is so sensitive to this blog.
The inferiority complex of Labour goes way back. The main reason for this inferiority complex is Dom Mintoff with his famous ‘us’ (the poor) v ‘them’ (the elite) speeches.
Jien ma nemminx kelma milli qal Jason.
Jien moralment konvint li Jason ma jahmilx dak kollu li hu Nazzjonalist, u moralment konvint li hu t-tip li jhobb biss lilu nnifsu.
There you have it, straight form the horse’s mouth. Laburisti think the Nationalists are the best.
This kind of thinking has taken a firm grip on the whole party and they are now set about in copying the Nationalist Paarty’s image to make themselves feel more worthy and credible.
On the other hand, most Nationalists think they’re a bunch of losers for even thinking and acting in that way.
They should be proud of their party and of the way they are, that is, a bunch of freaks rendered electable by other freaks.
“Jiena nemmen fl-ugwaljanza”
Then why was he harping away about a Gvern tal-Laburisti?
Can someone give Jason a dictionary, please.
“nemmen bis-sħiħ ukoll li l-Laburisti huma kapaċi daqs kull Nazzjonalist ieħor, jekk mhux aktar”
This is the epitome of warped thinking. I know this sounds tongue in cheek but why, pray, should a Laburist not be as kapaci as much as a Nazzjonalist?
This phrase does more harm than good because it openly admits that Labourites perceive themselves as being inferior to Nationalists. Funny thing is that most probably, if they are indeed inferior, it is their way of viewing life in general – and hence also their being Labourite – which makes them “inqas kapaci minn kull Nazzjonalist iehor”.
It is their own way of viewing things and life in general (bil-lanzit, ghira, axes to grind, chip on their shoulders, I-do-not-want-to-work-but-want-to-received-“lerief”-cheque mentality that they become less kapaci. They, through their own attitudes, are their own (and only) worst enemies.
