The botox must have missed its target
Last Tuesday night, Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando posted the following on his notorious Facebook wall:
Trying to (and managing) to catch up with the backlog I was faced with at the clinic and MCST after a few days spent with good friends at my favourite destination — Sicily. Love it there —- the food is great, the island is a history-affacionado’s paradise—and the beaches are amazing. Good night.
Some people do like to feel important, don’t they? Considering that there was an important vote in parliament the previous day, Monday, and another important vote the previous Wednesday, for both of which he was present, he can’t have been in Sicily – take note, not the North Pole – for any longer than a protracted weekend between Thursday and Sunday.
I really don’t know how the Malta Council for Science and Technology survived without him. Jeffrey, the backlog must be ENORMOUS.

Any idea when we can expect his next outburst?
[Daphne – Map the moon.]
What does that mean?
His next outburst might be about legalising gay marriages (though I cannot see what is gay in them). Perhaps he is busy drafting the new law.
[Daphne – Unlikely. Jekk jidhol go l-ghalqa ta’ Jeffrey, Jeffrey will lie in wait for him with a Botox syringe, and Botox his….tongue.]
“history-affacionado’s paradise”.
Indeed.
Dan ikollu “that time of the month” ukoll?
Nicholas must be really a very patient guy.
Is he asking us to sympathize with him for having created a backlog because he chose to spend a few days in Sicily rather than do his work?
How can it be legal for a dentist to inject people with botox? This is outside the realm of their dental training.
This is the work of a licensed MD.
It is not illegal for dental surgeons in Malta to inject botox and other fillers. We follow the UK on this procedure.
In 2010, there were about 6,000 dentists doing this sort of treatment in the UK.
The General Dental Council (UK) tried to stop this treatment by dentists but the professional liability insurances were against this move; the insurances said that dentists, due to the nature of their work, have steadier hands than the average doctor.
The only downside is that their insurance went up by £7000 over and above that which they normally pay.
Jeffrey, you are a liability to the party. Resign.
