The sorry end – on the most public stage – of a tragic drunk

Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith, in another life

The spouses of those whose actions are taking them over the edge have a duty to act as a restraining influence, protecting them from themselves in times of extreme distress.

But with Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith, it’s the other way round. The woman at his side continues to provoke him into taking steps which destroy him as a man even as they elevate her status in the political party of her choice, and hasten its election to power.

The reasons which JPOS gave for demanding Richard Cachia Caruana’s expulsion from the Nationalist Party are so ludicrous that they can have been assembled only under the influence of more of those ‘spiked drinks’.

Remember that he is speaking about the Nationalist Party’s most loyal lieutenant, somebody I have always known to be absolutely correct, proper and careful in everything he does. And believe me when I say this, because over the last 23 years in this game I’ve seen so many politicians come and go.

—————

1. Colluding with high ranking members of the Labour administration led by Dr. Alfred Sant between 1996 and 1998 in an attempt to further his personal interests whilst putting his colleagues in the Nationalist administration led by Dr. Eddie Fenech Adami between 1987 and 1996 in a bad light.

2. Colluding with high ranking officials representing foreign states in a clear attempt at bypassing the Nationalist Party parliamentary group and the Maltese Parliament.

3. Fomenting the unrest which has led to the difficulties being faced by our leader, Dr Lawrence Gonzi, both within our party and in Parliament.

—————

Funny how Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith hasn’t called for Richard Cachia Caruana’s expulsion for colluding with the European Union to make us members, which is what this is really all about with Labour.

If the Nationalist Party hasn’t expelled Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith for literally sleeping with the enemy, colluding with the Opposition on deals that damage his party and the government, and refusing to vote with the party whip, why would it expel Mr Correctness himself?

Just go home and down another bottle, Jeffrey. You have become a tragi-comic figure.

Am I correct in saying that he might be pulling Alfred Sant and the PL into this whole mess and it could also backfire in Labour’s face? I stand to be corrected.

Pity that we still do not have a clue who gave Sant the information about the Mistra case.

Of the women in the life of JPOS, Marlene is on record saying that she was not the informer.

When will Carmen declare where she stood in the Sant-JPO Mistra saga?

If we are to believe Jeffrey, then I must really thank RCC for bringing down the Sant government within 22 months.

He was not colluding with Sant but must have been a double agent on behalf of PN. Brilliant, genius, great strategist.

    Nice, what’s next.
