There’s a member of the Armed Forces of Malta in the racist group Daqshekk ghal-Immigrazzjoni Illegali f’Malta on Facebook.

Daphne, I see no reason for this soldier not to join this group against ILLEGAL immigration.
Illegal immigration is destroying the character of Europe and must be stopped.
[Daphne – Why bother campaigning against illegal immigration? It’s not as though anyone is encouraging it. And it’s a racist site.]
How dumb. Of course it is a racist site. What other interest have its adherents? Stopping migrants from leaving their countries? The naivitè of some people is shocking.
‘Illegal immigration is destroying the character of Europe’.
How so? Unless you mean ‘invaded by blacks and Muslims’.
And which aspect of Europe’s character did you have in mind?
If it is true that members of the AFM are warming up to the Nazis (yes they are, most people in that group are Lowell’s guys who call Jews rodents and want to exterminate them), do not take this lightly.
Please read this and watch the clips:

The savage in the clip is not bluffing. He only got 7% of the vote but his people are terrorizing immigrants, journalists and anyone who disagrees with them in the streets of Athens – with impunity.
How can they do it?
They got the support of 50% of the police and the army.
A more pertinent question:
Why are racists allowed to become soldiers?
For completeness sake it should be noted that the Facebook Group feature has the annoying ability of allowing you to add friends to the group without their consent or knowledge. The above is one such example.
I suspect the same may be said for many of the people mentioned in a previous post.
If you, like me, rarely use Facebook it may be a while before you realise. On the other hand, politicians should beware of strange bedfellows and not simply press the accept button.
Then again how can a politician refuse a ‘like’?

Correct!
Not correct at all – you are trying to justify the unjustifiable. A Facebook account is linked to an e-mail account, and whenever something occurs or is posted on your Facebook (wall, friends, likes, invitations, new picture tags, etc) you receive a notification on your e-mail).
Hence unless it is an e-mail address that is fake or that you do not use, one should be aware of whatever happens on his / her Facebook. Lack of use of Facebook should not be an excuse, since we all read our e-mails every day.
In the previous post about the PL officials, the members listed were all invited rather than added. Thus it is clear that they had to willingly accept.
Luciano Busuttil has declared that he will remain in the group.
If one doesn’t check one’s Facebook account for A WHOLE MONTH (and thereby know whether one has been added to an undesirable group), one has no business in using Facebook (or at most, making one’s profile public).
There really is no excuse.
It’s incredible what kind of shit of a journalist that you are !! You are giving a bad name to people who are just using their Facebook in their privacy at the comfort of their home (Also the internet is not censored people can join any group they what ),you are a kind of person which truly divers no respect from any one
You may use Facebook in the privacy of your home but you cannot have failed to notice that, in doing so, you expose youself to an audience of half a billion.
If you don’t wish to be identified as a racist, say or do nothing racist. That means you don’t join racist groups on Facebook or anywhere else.
In more civilised countries, this would have been front-page news in all newspapers.
“ohn” – There’s so much incredible stupidity, simple wrong-ness and lack of logic condensed in your very short “contribution” that expounding on it would require at least three times the space, so I won’t.
Just to clarify things.. it shows clearly that this gentleman was added by someone else to the group, most probably without his consent or him knowing it. I have been added to such groups myself, and didn’t realize until I started getting notifications from them. Only once you remove yourself from such groups, they’ll have to ASK you to join.
Why would someone from Imperium Europa add a soldier to a racists group?

You’d better be careful not to become too popular. You might lose your early retirement.
