Am I right in saying that there is a very embarrassing facial similarity between Jesmond Mugliett and Luciano Busuttil?
You nailed it. I thought it was Mugliett before I read your post.
I was thinking “what’s he going door to door for? He’s out”. And then I realized it’s the BBQ enthusiast with the slicked back hair and a full set of chins.
Either they’re identical twins separated at birth, or the same person hedging his bets.
Have they ever been seen together?
If ‘many are at the beach’ how are they going to open their doors to him?
Perhaps he should hold a beach meeting in a pair of budgie-smuggler Speedos with Karmenu Vella. Or better still go yacht-to-yacht starting from the Tunny Net area, waters which are familiar to Il-Guy.

Each election has its comic relief. In the past we had il-Farfett and Spiru Sant. This time, thanks to the modern social media, we have Luciano Busuttil and Leo Brincat.
With il-Farfett and Spiru Sant it was comic relief. That’s because they had no hope in hell of finding themselves in parliament. It’s a different kettle of fish with Luciano and Leo Brincat. They’re more than likely to be spearheading our country, only in the wrong direction. Which makes it tragic rather than comic.
