  2. Lupin says:

They tried to create an exciting clip with a very boring narrative, so much so that I lost interest in what Muscat was saying within the minute.

  3. AJS says:

If Joseph Muscat is so irritated by the old style politics, the old system, then what are the old Labour candidates (AST, Joe Debono Grech, Karmenu Vella and so on) still doing in his terribly progressive new party?

  4. Neil Dent says:

How much older he looks now. And larger.

  5. AE says:

I don’t get it, he keeps talking of a new Labour and then insists on using terminology that is so reminiscent of Mintoff’s past such as “moviment”, “suldati tal- azzar” whilst keeping at the helm so many of the same stooges that were part of Mintoff’s cabinet three decades ago.

It is clear to me that he sees himself as Mintoff’s heir apparent. Is it possible that it is not clear to all those disillusioned or one time nationalist supporters who are now thinking of voting Labour? It seems madness to me that they would vote for this lot just for the sake of change or because they are fed-up with the arrogance of some within the PN without giving any consideration who they are voting in instead.

I honestly would like nothing more than for Labour to have re-invented itself. For there to be a new fresh faces, with a real solid vision for the country. Where Labour could be a real alternative to the nationalist party. Where the prospect of having Labour govern the country is not scary. But this is not it.

I am not a die-hard Nationalist and do not subscribe to the creed that I was born a nationalist, am a Nationalist and will die a Nationalist – but for now I cannot possibly vote any other way.

  6. L.Gatt says:

Apart from the Suldati tal-azzar u dawk lesti li jmutu (?) ghall-Labour, the rest is not bad by Labour standards.

  7. Joseph Caruana says:
