Franco Debono has spotted an opening

Somebody who’s been watching Franco Debono sent me this email message:

Have you pondered on the similarities between Franco Debono and Dom Mintoff… the way they speak, point and bounce?

Well, come to think of it…not that Mintoff is doing much speaking, pointing and bouncing any more, thank heavens. Franco Debono must have spotted an opening.

To quote his immortal words about the priedka tat-tifel: “Eeeee, din haga sabiha. Kemm hi sabiha din. Nippruva.”

    Comment in The Times this morning after the GWU issued a directive to its members not to wear ties, leading to fines by Transport Malta.

      Randolph Spiteri. He’s my 11am entertainment and on Wednesday he’s at his best with his open topic show. He’s very passionate and from time to time he endows us with a “ferocious” speech.
