  2. spa says:

Do you think what is happening today will back fire big time when Joseph is PM?

    • MMuscat says:

      Who cares?

Dear Joseph? All he cares about is winning the election.

The Labour Party? That’s obsolete now. Instead there’s this new baby blue and orange movement with a road map.

The PN? They will be back in the government benches shortly.

The three backstabbers? I mean backbenchers. They just do the bidding of their true leader and savior – just to give it a PL’s twist.

What about the rest of us? Ah yeah, we have the collective memory equivalent to that of a school of tuna.

My sincere apologies to the smart ones.

  3. A Montebello says:

When seen in quick succession you really pick up on the:

    First I’m bald… Then I’m not!

    Then I’m grey… Now I’m not!

    Now I’m botoxed…. then I’m not!

But the one that jars is:

    First I’m a dick… Now I’m a bigger dick!

  4. Jozef says:

    It’s only Monday. Please.

  5. Tonio Mallia says:

Daphne, I’m going to send you the bill for my shrink and Nexium tablets.

  6. Tonio Mallia says:

And I think that these posts need to have some kind of health warning. Viewing this video and hearing this tune can rekindle suppressed feelings of fear and disgust.

  7. Esteve says:

From where I sit it looks like PL try to use the police like any other political tool – even from the opposition benches.

    http://www.timesofmalta.com/mobile/view/20120716/local/former-police-commissioner-denies-mizzi-s-claims.428872

The prospect of seeing these types in power scares the bejesus out of me.

  8. Francis Saliba MD says:

Haddiema nafu xinhuma, imma “haddemin”? Lili tissugerili dawk li lil-politici li “jahdmu” lil haddiema bla xoghol, billi flok joholqulhom impjieg igieghluhom jidhlu f’xi Korp tal-Pijunieri, taht dixxiplina militari u minghajr il-protezjoni ta’ trade union biex jaqalghu sold halli jghajjxu l-familja.

  9. ciccio says:

Jeffrey and Joseph. Two sides of the same coin?

  10. john says:

A YouTube feature put up by OneNewsBlog is entitled ‘Is-securities ta Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando – – – ‘

Knowing that his mega Mistra deal fell through (even though Jeffrey himself knew nothing about it) I thought that the clip would be outlining some other wise investments he made that put him in the way of a buck or two.

Hoping to cash in, myself, on some tips from Jeffrey’s portfolio of securities, I clicked.

All that came up was a bunch of neanderthals milling around.

Go figure – as kev would say.

  11. anthony says:

    Qawwu qalbkom.

    Niltaqghu l-Mistra.

  12. Joseph Carmel Chetcuti says:

Excellent song! Looking forward to the day when a party that can govern itself also governs Malta. Malta’s PN Mickey Mouse government needs to be put to bed. Any bad spelling, teacher Daphne?

  13. Fido says:

    http://www.timesofmalta.com/mobile/view/20120717/local/Dalli-wants-to-testify-but-cannot-today.428913

I would like Mr Dalli to explain the background to that 10 million loan to Daewoo, unsecured and never paid.

He can explain everything on thursday if that fits his busy incarcerated-in-Brussels schedule.

Good for you.Once a liar, always a liar.

Anyone who says that he belives JPO , also belives that he was innocent of all the accusations made by the Labour Party and Alfred Sant four years ago about the attempted rape of Mistra,

  19. The Shadow says:

The similarity of Jaffrey’s shenanigans to the plot of Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso is uncanny.

  20. canon says:

The Labour Party is in a frenzied mood to hit back, since fingers instead of pointing to Richard Cachia Caruana are pointing to the Labour Party, in particular Joseph Muscat.

  21. maryanne says:

    Gejjieni sabih, indeed.

Quite honestly I don’t care what the political parties are going to put in their manifestos. It’s voting PN to keep Labour out, yet again.

The way Labour is acting and colluding with PN rebels is disgusting.

Take Richard Cachia Caruana’s attempted murder and Labour putting it to the fore again.

They have intentionally moved the goal posts.

Wasn’t it about collusion with Labour during 1996-98? What does his attempted murder have to do with collusion?

This is dirt and character assassination of the first degree.

  22. jj says:

daphne caruana galizia is going downnnnnn lololololol

  23. Dunstan says:

Just had to turn the sound off. Mary `Spitfire`s` voice is too nasal.

We seem to be living a bad dream.

All of us who actually suffered under Labour just cannot stand the INNU…and all it meant to us.

I can’t wait to hear what Dalli has to say..but I can well imagine.

  24. Frunu says:

Tick Tock Tick Tock…….. trrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnn (alarm) ….. Ooooppppsssyyyyyy…..

It’s time up for you so called ‘Nationalists’! Please make sure you pack all your stuff before you depart and give Malta back to the real Maltese …..

  25. Bob says:

sorry but you cannot leave us more than 24 hours with out your contribution…

  26. Matt says:

Now that JPO has been humiliated in front of all the PN executive what does he plan to do? People who are full of hate always self destruct.

Looks like the government will continue to hop along till March.

    What a boob.

[Daphne – The government can’t really hop along until March when there’s a budget vote in November. That’s the watershed moment.]

  27. Pina says:

Hi Daph, I can’t find your email so I’m sending this here.

You’ve got to read it. It’s a vacancy for a part-time manager at Angelica in Valletta (Mona’s cafe). So typical of Mona!

Maybe you can help promote it and help her fill her slot.

  28. Pina says:

And I forgot to bring the leaflet that I have just received in the mail from Joseph Cuschieri.

It’s an ‘information’ leaflet to tell us what he’s been up to in Brussels….and all about his important trip to Dubai as an MEP.

Needless to say no mention of Labour – that must have been a separate trip :)

  29. Pina says:

Sorry to flood your comments board, but seems like Mona’s vacancy has already attracted some attention. Just found this on the times

  30. Jeffrey Sob Sob says:

JPOS, in your scoundrel friend’s own words ”issa huda ma saqajk”. Oh and by the way, seek help very, very urgently.

  31. Mark says:

Malta’s biggest political liar exposed on MALTA TODAY, of all newspapers! I do not think that they need him anymore.

  32. Village says:

This awkward relationship is unveiling the true morality and hypocritical character of the new Labour leader. It should tell floating voters what Joseph Muscat is all about.

What is going on at Maltastar? Have they hit the Earl Grey too?

    http://www.maltastar.com/dart/20120718-trial-will-decide-divorcees-daughter-fate

Before Judge Joseph Azzopardi, continued yesterday heard the cause which shall determine the fate of Ella, daughter of 10-year legal battle between her father’s apprehension, Richard John Bridge, who lives in Malta, and her mother, that tgœix England.

Richard John Bridge built his daughter lives here ædida Malta and lived here since September of 2010, after the couple were divorced Bridge and the mother left back to England.

The father did not stop here, but brought an action in the Constitutional Court claiming that, since living here in Malta, the daughter integrated itself well in life, take part in the Girl Guides, attending primary school and learn the Maltese unemployed. The father said that even her biological mother never bothered to visit or send her any gifts, not even a postcard.

It seems that yesterday a number of witnesses well also called before the judge.

  35. Edward Caruana Galizia says:

I believe that the only reason why JPO and Franco Debono have been carrying out all these silly acts is because they want to earn the support and trust of the PL.
