Jeffrey POS: the comparison with Jo Said in the last general election is now too accurate for comfort
Jeffrey POS’s behaviour, speech, obsessiveness, delusionary paraoid thought-patterns and fixation with the media and secret service are now too uncomfortably close to those of Jo Said, the man who hounded various individuals in the Nationalist Party in the lead-up to the last general election.
The difference is that Jeffrey has a seat in parliament and has to be taken seriously while being recognised as absurd, whereas Jo Said stood on the fringes and shouted.
But they are the same and I am quite sure that this has already become obvious to specialists in the field. It struck me this morning when I read the latest stuff and the image of Jo Said came very much unbidden to mind.
There is another difference. Jo Said was receiving treatment for a psychological condition which, the law courts were told when he was finally charged with libel, made it impossible for him to operate normally in a working environment, and so he had been pensioned off.
We have no evidence that Jeffrey is getting the attention he so clearly needs. The similarities between him and Said are now too screamingly obvious to be ignored any longer.
Just look at the text of this incredible email which Jeffrey sent to the president of the PN Executive yesterday.
Dear Dr. Portelli,
I agreed to indicate which witnesses will be corroborating the accusations I made with respect to Mr. Cachia Caruana. You will recall that the accusations, which I strongly feel should result in Mr. Cachia Caruana’s expulsion from the Nationalist Party, are as follows:
1. Colluding with high ranking members of the Labour administration led by Dr. Alfred Sant between 1996 and 1998 in an attempt at furthering his personal interests whilst putting his colleagues in the Nationalist administration led by Dr. Eddie Fenech Adami between 1987 and 1996 in a bad light.
2. Colluding with high ranking officials representing foreign states in a clear attempt at bypassing the Nationalist Party parliamentary group and the Maltese Parliament.
3. Fomenting the unrest which has led to the difficulties being faced by our leader, Dr. Lawrence Gonzi, both within our party and in Parliament.
Mr. John Rizzo can corroborate the third accusation
Mr. John Dalli can corroborate the third accusation
Mr. Gordon Pisani can corroborate the third accusation
Mr. Karmenu Vella can corroborate the first accusation and,
Mr. Joe Mizzi can corroborate the first accusation.
I will obviously be giving a presentation and presenting evidence in relation to the abovementioned three points as well.
May I suggest that, for the forthcoming meeting, it would be better for our image if we discouraged the presence of certain individuals who were gathered in front of our headquarters yesterday.
I will be sending a copy of this letter to the press for the reason I mentioned last Wednesday.
Regards,
Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando M.P. (P.N.)

Erm, did he read what Gordon Pisani said?
I think it would be better to send JPOS to hell with all his diatribes against innocent people.
Remember the frame up of Peter Paul Busuttil. That’s what this son-of-a-bitch is trying to do: frame RCC.
Who will corroborate the second accusation?
Why not summon Hilary Clinton and Angela Merkel to Blata-l-Bajda?
Perhaps we can throw in Aung San Suu Kyi and have an all female trio.
Farcical.
You’ve got to hand it to him though.
He has learned something from reading this blog.
Gone are the “Dear Marthese” and “Regards, Jeffrey”.
Good on you, Jeff. Though the “(P.N.)” was taking things a tad too far, don’t you think?
“May I suggest that, for the forthcoming meeting, it would be better for our image if we discouraged the presence of certain individuals who were gathered in front of our headquarters yesterday.”
Shall we call it a date? After all, JPO thinks he can say and do what the hell he likes, so why can’t we enjoy rhe same freedom and meet infront of the PN HQ next Tuesday?
(Whilst there we would also see whether JPO can out-do the Generalissimo Franco and wear a more expensive and trendy t-shirt.)
I’ll be the one in the Miura.
JPOS is so very much in with Labour that he has started to call Lawrence Gonzi “our leader”, when the Nationalist Party never used the term.
Exactly my thoughts.
It even made me think of North Korea. Ah, how lovely.
“Regards,

Does he still need to remind Dr. Portelli that he is a PN MP, as if Labour MPs are members of the PN executive as well?
