QUICK, EVERYBODY – STRAIGHT TO MALTASTAR FOR THE LATEST JOHN DALLI

Published: July 22, 2012 at 8:08am

But drink your coffee first and keep your cup WELL away from your laptop/smartphone. You have been warned.

While reading that story, bear in mind that this is an EU commissioner, a 65-year-old supposedly seasoned politician, and a man who has – quite clearly – lost it completely.

EU Commissioner for Health John Dalli told the PN Executive Committee last Tuesday: “This is how our Christian Democrats refer to me by adding BA on to my name and surname so that J Dalli BA reads like ‘gej dal-liba’.”

There’s another T-shirt slogan here, isn’t there?

So when the Christian Democrats see him coming they tell him @”ej dan il-l*ba”.

In my opinion they are being very mild.

I would say “gej dan iz-zibel”. Or rather look up L-Orizont of some years back and quote hundreds of articles in which he was called much worse.

Not sure whether they could have used the word corrupt at that time. But certainly implicated his corrupt, criminal brother. Hallina Johhny Cash.

  2. J Dalli BA says:

“In his intervention from Brussels Dalli referred to the way in which he has been persecuted by persons within the PN who pass on information against him to the Labour Party to try and damage his reputation. He said these campaigns against him, his family and his close collaborators are still going on.”

As far as i know Labour never persecuted John Dalli. Quite the contrary I would say. Stories on Super One news usually favour him. He is given airtime as a guest one Super One talk shows.

The persecuted are the ones who have to put up with him.

I wouldn’t give a toss if I had a bad reputation with the PL, their media and their supporters. I’d be worried and ashamed if I had a good one.

What a bunch of pathetic whiners.

But I guess, very reluctantly, that our nation deserves all this. They’re only reflecting us, the electorate, who put them there. Very sad.

This is how the Dalli affair unfolded:
1 Rumours purposely started by Labour (who else?) to get at John Dalli.
2 Lots of headlines, radio & TV stories, allegations etc.
3 Investigation started and Dalli asked to resign as minister.
4 Complete silence, temporarily, from the LP as Dalli resigned.
5 The LP started to change its tune as the result of the investigation which indicated that Dalli did ‘nothing wrong’.
6 Since Dalli was not reinstated as Minister the LP bleeding hearts starting stories how Gonzi was hasty and unfair asking for Dalli’s resignation.
7 LP starts a campaign smearing Gonzi and defending Dalli.
8 Dalli warms up to his ‘friends’ at the Labour Party.
9 Dalli is egged on by LP and revives his bitterness about him loosing the leadership race to Gonzi.
10 Dalli maintains contact with the LP who continue to fan the fires of envy and bitterness pushing Dalli to cling to the tiniest shreds which may embarrass the NP.
11 Dalli discovers that his e-mail has been hacked and ‘suspects’ the hacker is/was at the NP Administration later changed to a government ministry and holds meeting with the PM supposedly giving the names of ‘suspects’
12 Dalli claims that he also went to the Police Commissioner and asked for an investigation.

13…Stay tuned for more while John Dalli continues to collect a princely salary, travel allowances and other perks while the police will spend our taxpayers’ money banging their heads against a concrete wall. All they (and we) get from all this, is a massive headache. Thanks Johnny, with well paid friends like you, who needs the Labour Party in office?

  4. ciccio says:

Quick, why, has he come already?

  5. maryanne says:

John Dalli just wants to divert attention from the enormous gaffe he made about hacking/blogs/comments board.

With regard to his other comments about party politics, both internal and across parties, qisu twieled il-bierah. Whom does he want to impress?

U hallina Dalli, enjoy your Brussels salary and your Portomaso flat and leave us in peace.

  6. Grezz says:

Rather dignified, I must say, especially coming from an E.U. commissioner, and to Maltastar, at that.

And does this man really want to be prime minister? He’d be more embarrassing than Mintoff.

The Nationalist Party chose the right man in 2004. John Dalli makes that more clear with every passing day.

  7. J&B Dalli & Sons says:

These shall be on sale at the.Valletta Monti starting on the last week of July. Various colors and sizes to choose from.

  8. Mark says:

Gosh the police commissioner must be working round the clock to chase these criminals.

How insensitive can these PN officials be, to say that sort of thing? Arrest them at once.

It’s not like he has been involved in the Daewoo scandal (and then told whoppers about it, or shall we say Big Macs?), promoted his personal business while holding office, and all of this with a brother who uses his connections in Libya and elsewhere and then ends up in a ‘green soap’ deal and running away from the police and hiding in Libya.

  9. Cportelli says:

Anyone knows who can print some T-shirts with various captions for me?

  10. Lomax says:

Somebody must have told the Christian Democrats what l*** means….

  11. Jozef says:

Imagine if he were leading the PN and prime minister.

At this point one can’t help getting to terms with what the PM is made of. The thing that comes to mind is a formidable inner strength and sense of purpose to be able to lead with these as the supposed heavyweights in the PN.

It had to happen, Maltese gemgem has taken to the net, what with its comments facilities and updated articles on the electronic media.

Then the Sargas proposal comes to mind and everything falls into place. If he were prime minister, would he do the same once someone managed to rubbish it?

Or would the police be set on anyone who dare question its conceptual fraud?

  12. gogemini says:

    He lost it?

Another lonney on the way it seems.

Don’t cross swords with PN coz Daphne will have you straight on the looney list. She’ll have you diagnosed in no time, and hey presto, her admirers will spread the word like faithful disciples. Eat your heart out Jesus!

    • J Dalli BA says:

No darling, he didn’t lose it. After all, it’s perfectly normal for an EU Commissioner for Health to state:

“This is how our Christian Democrats refer to me by adding BA on to my name and surname so that J Dalli BA reads like ‘gej dal-liba’.”

You know, at least he didn’t go public with this statement; he just mentioned it to his wife on his terrace at Portomaso.

  13. Zeppi says:

With EU Commissioners like J Dalli (BA), I am beginning to have doubts about our continued membership in the EU.

  14. Aunt Hetty says:

“This is how our Christian Democrats refer to me by adding BA on to my name and surname so that J Dalli BA reads like ‘GEJ DAL-LIBA .”

Well, it certainly beats Labour’s Johnny Cash or HuBastjan.

  15. Jozef says:

    From the same article.

‘The following day, at 5.00am, there was an attempt to hack into his private email. Dalli said that the groups against him are very well organized.’

Isn’t that exactly what was contradicted by Maltatoday?

  16. H.P. Baxxter says:

Honi soit qui mal y pense, what.

Anyway, since when has it become acceptable to print “liba” in news media?

  17. Il-Kajboj says:

Imagine having to choose between DalliPN and il-Partit bla Isem ta’ Joseph.

    Someone wake me up. Please.

  18. Snoopy says:

On googling John Dalli, these two blogs are high on the list:

    http://john-dalli-eu-cv.blogspot.com/
    http://ec-eu-john-dalli.blogspot.com/

I wonder whether he has reported these two blogs. Both should remind him why he was not chosen as PN leader.

    • Artemis says:

I have read these as well. Considering the fuss Dalli makes about everything else he has remained strangely silent about this.

Could it be because they are true?

They have been there for a couple of years and so it would appear he has done nothing about them. What a hypocrite.

    • The Examiner says:

I spent long hours reading these blogs and the documents published in them. I also came across the following blog. http://j-gaffa.blogspot.co.uk/

It also seems to me that Commissioner Dalli is up to his old tricks to make himself look the victim by making false accusations again.

Chief Justice Lord Denning said those seeking justice “MUST COME WITH HANDS CLEAN”. It is evident that Dalli is not MR. CLEAN.
