JPOS with Labour activist and former policeman Andy Ellul, now Charlon Gouder's lawyer and part of Consuelo Herrera's tight circle, and his sister, the failed Labour MEP candidate Sharon Ellul Bonici.

One of my readers has raised this pertinent point. If Joe Mizzi hadn’t gone on Super One last night, what would Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando Smith have said to Marthese Portelli in his letter this morning?

Dear Marthese,

I’m waiting for Joe Mizzi to pull his finger out.

Regards,

Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando M.P. (P.N.)

That would never have happened because it was not a coincidence that Joe Mizzi appeared on Super One in time for Jeffrey to write his letter.

Its so irritating that you persist in calling the Labour Party’s TV station “Super One” when its real name has been for years just “One”.

For someome who gives so much attention to detail, it is very wierd that you persevere in your name misquoting.

Had you detected such a trait in anybody else on the other side of the fence, you’d be putting into good use your psychological profiling skills, and have us believe it must be a case of a looney on the loose.

[Daphne – Sweetheart, it will always be Super One to those of us who knew it from the beginning. Almost nobody I know says One; they all say Super One, because we were adults already when it started out. Similarly, Marks & Spencers is St Michael’s to us, and Republic Street is Kingsway.]

Mandango, what’s wrong with attributing to One a sense of superlative? With Jason Micallef as it Chairman, it really is Super One.

    • Lomax says:

With One it is much better not to give attention. It is too amateurish and we’d start noticing glaring mistakes and poor quality. Just a moment: we already do.

…..and PL, Moviment gid, etc, etc, will always be referred to as MLP.

And Manwel Dimech Street, Sliema is Prince of Wales Street to people who really are ‘from Sliema’.

Not that I am against naming the street for a Maltese national. But yes I’m against naming the street for a murderer who was not hanged only because he was not yet an adult when he did it.

I wasn’t aware Sharon’s brother was part of the inner circle.
