That’s Malta for you

Somebody has already told me just how old Michelle Muscat’s and Carmen Ciantar’s friendship is: 16 years.

They met and struck up a close friendship during the weekly meetings for the personal assistants of cabinet ministers and parliamentary secretaries, held at the Auberge de Castille.

Carmen, then Camilleri Ciantar, was personal assistant to parliamentary secretary Louis Buhagiar. Michelle, then Tanti, was personal assistant to minister Charles Buhagiar.

    That explaines why Joseph Muscat has it against Charles Buhagiar.
