Daphne, do you have any thoughts why these ex-ministers (e.g., Joe Debono Grech) appear so angry?

The idea crossed my mind when recently you showed the picture of the Qormi mayor hand signalling a victory sign. She too (and a number of the ladies present) appeared angry.

I am starting to believe that anger is a character trait among Maltese of a certain stratum of society (without meaning to be elitist).

If this is the case, then why are these people angry? And, if anger is blind and vindictive, then the nation is in more trouble then we could actually fathom.

I might be off track. However, the comments-board on The Times, MaltaToday and Facebook pages show signs of a deep-seated anger at something. Do these people truly believe that we were better off under Mintoff and Labour?

Maybe it should be a permanent link below Mr Gadget’s face on the left.

So I wonder what is new in NEW LABOUR!

“Taghna r-rebha fl-ahhar tkun”: quite a prophetic march/anthem (or whatever this drivel can be called) because it would seem Joseph Muscat will become PM at the end of the Mayan calendar.

    • L-Iskocciz says:

Lomax, probably you don’t remember when “Taghna r-rebha fl-ahhar tkun”: used to be sung “Taghna r-rebha TERGA’ tkun”.

Kellhom ibiddluha ghax qatghu qalbhom li “terga'” tkun. Allura qeghdin ikantaw li “FLAHHAR TERG’ TKUN”.

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

Unless Lomax is a thumb-sucking toddler, he should remember it. It was “terga’ tkun” as recently as the 2008 election.
