Print this out and stick it on your fridge door

This one is for those of my associates who are wittering away about how “Mintoff did good for the working-classes even if he harmed others”.

What, so he’s Robin Hood, how?

Or has it become sort of achingly hip to act like you’re above it all and can maintain a detached view?

Pathetic.

Read this and memorise it, but first try to understand what it means. Clearly, if you think that ‘Mintoff did good for the working-classes even if he harmed others’, that’s going to be a little difficult, so crank up your brain first.

NOTHING IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN SINCERE IGNORANCE AND CONSCIENTIOUS STUPIDITY –

You’re wasting your time Daphne, these people understand only threats, violence and state handouts.

Truth is Dom would call most of them ‘bla bajd’ considering the number of unmarried mothers and unknown fathers contributing nothing to the country’s coffers but sitting on their asses all day waiting for Joseph to fulfill his unrealistic promises.

And the French revolution? many were beheaded. Yet is the most significant event for modern Europe.

It’s better if you put this on you fridge and understand it.

“The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.”

Perhaps you perceive yourself differently than most people do. There is nothing even remotely strong about spewing hate on the internet, or spreading hate anywhere.

“What, so he’s Robin Hood, how?”

Well yes, at least sort of.

He stole from the hard working to give to the lazy (and of course to himself and his cronies, lazy or otherwise).

I do not normally read this blog, but after reading so many comments on Facebook, I just had to see for my self what all the fuss about this ‘sahhara tal-bidnija’ & Mintoff was.

My first reaction after reading the blog on the day Mintoff died was how can someone get so low. Yes, the man is a Bastard in the eyes of some and a hero in the eyes of others, like most politicians I suppose.

I continued reading over the past couple of days and I realized that all your blogs were dominated by Mintoff… Mintoff this and Mintoff that. It seems that he is an obsession of yours. You like to psychoanalyse people, well perhaps it would be a good idea to analyse this obsession of yours over this man. Why does his name torment you so much? I am sure it has nothing to do with Mars being bought over the black market or the atrocities he allegedly committed.

You mentioned political crimes, namely Raymond Caruana… Yes it happened! Who is responsible? Do we really know? No one was brought to court, just like no-one was formally accused in the case of Karin Grech. At least no one made any public statements claiming he knew who was responsible, just like in the latter!

[Daphne – Do go back to Facebook. You’re in way above your head here.]

You never do seem to respond to comments which speak the Truth about Mintoff, do you?

    • Mike says:

Dear Alley, I agree with your comments except for the last paragraph. Dr. EFA emeritus during the 1996 or 98 election campaign did state publicly that he knows or has information about the mentioned political crimes.
