Looks like Franco hasn’t been cracking his codes

He’s let SUCKERS and CAPON get through in these comments he uploaded on his blokk.

Stardust, il-bully,
until I realised the depth of Franco’s
character, I thought he was just a Mr
know-it-all. Franco’s interest in haiku
earns him my respect. I have always
read his blog pre-conditioned, but I now
see that I was wrong.

Carry on with the good work dear Dr Debono
An astute mind like yours is so hard to find in parliamentarians nowadays.
Please do not let the witch intimidate you from shouting out the truth.
Only the likes of the evil clique would find fault with what you stand for now.
Note that you are in my thoughts and prayers of many.

  2. Richard Borg says:

Isma, you seriously think that the Maltese people are stupid enough to think that what Simon Busuttil said is the truth? You actually believe that a bail-out would be needed after one or two years of Labour governance?

What do you think of the booing that went on when Kurt Sansone asked Dr Gonzi about same sex marriage? Ara kieku kienu tal-Labour x’passata kont tghaddi bihom! Anyway, have a good night Daphne.

  3. Tinnat says:

Franco publishes a lot of crap. He does not publish legitimate comments such as “do you think a Labour government will be better?” or he publishes them but does not answer them.

He has had ample opportunity to replies to such comments but chooses NEVER to do so.

So he is a bigot and a coward, or he doesn’t know what it suits him to reply. A chicken indeed.

  4. Ian Castillo says:

Please tell me you’re watching the circle-jerk on Super One at the moment and preparing a post about it.

This one features our future leader portraying himself as just one of the *ahem* Żgħażagħ.

Look at Michelle’s comments! Her father could not afford to study at University! But then she was able to study under a PN government!

    Come on, Franco.

Until you get GonziPN to throw in the towel we will be behind you.

No one in Malta believes that you have not been framed by Austin Gatt.

Take them on, Franco. The whole bloody lot of them.

  8. D says:

Franco is looking more and more like the Spiru Sant and the Richard Sultana of the modern day politics. Sad thing is he actually sits in parlament and holds the balance of power.

  9. A. Charles says:

It is now obvious that Franco Debono is not a malicious person but is only a two-penny lawyer from Ghaxaq without being insulting to the people of that charming village.

Being a self-confessed poetry buff, while I disagree with Franco’s
logic in his parliament-related arguments, his keen interest in poetry
and particularly Haiku, changes my impression somewhat.

By seeking refuge in this subtle art form, Franco, you have risen by
a few notches in my esteem. I have some regret about having mis-
judged you. I may not agree with what you say, but I now see you in a
    different light.

In its pre-budget document the GWU proposed a change to the minimum wage (upwards of course), but now that Joseph Muscat has pledged not to increase the minimum wage, to garner votes from business, of course, GWU also agrees that the minimum wage should not increase.

The working class probably applauded this move by Joseph Muscat, little realising that it is their wages he was talking about.

He is secure of their vote anyway and so like Mintoff before him, he can crush them and they still thank him for being their salvatur

Reading the above, I am reminded of THE FOX AND THE CROW, an AESOP fable. But you are no fox, my dear Franco.

  27. gogemini says:

OK, he’s an ghoxx or whatever, granted. Yet this morning I read on his blog what you had written about him before he fell out of favour with the PN.

I’d say that your sense of judgement then puts you too in the same league.

[Daphne – Read the whole article, dear fool. It’s mockery from beginning to end. You have to be from the Other Malta to take it literally, like him.]

    • mandango70 says:

Hang on Daphne, there were other times too that you wrote about Franco in a totally different vein. Why not fish out your write up where you had stated that YOU called him and had an interesting/intelligent conversation about the role of a lawyer (defending Cyrus) who happened to be a Government MP?

[Daphne – Oh God, you took that one literally, too.]

Back then one hardly can say you did not think highly of him. Its only since he’s been squeezine Gonzi’s balls that you’ve been “enlightened” about his madness and God knows what else.

[Daphne – You are completely wrong. The first time I wrote about him, which was the first time I noticed his existence (after the election in 2008), it was to call him as ass and illustrate my blog-post with a picture of one. That was when he rang The Sunday Times to fight with the editor for failing to mention that he had unseated Louis Galea.]
