The man who takes up two seats on a plane has been replaced by two people

It’s just as we thought. The erstwhile Super One TV presenter who takes up two seats on a plane has, after his resignation for bad behaviour on Facebook, been replaced by two people.

They are the poor sod at the other end of Consuelo Herrera’s leash and Mrs Dominic Azzopardi: Robert Musumeci and Simone Cini.

It really is no surprise that Musumeci got the job. His girlfriend is bast frands with Super One chief Jason Micallef.

But sshhhh, I’ll let you in on a little secret. Before the job went to Consuelo’s boyfriend, Joseph Muscat met former Labour Party stalwart Joe Mifsud, who now co-hosts TVM’s breakfast show with Pierre Portelli, and begged him to take it and return to the Labour fold. But no joy there.

So Musumeci and Cini, eh? That rules out any discussion of three subjects which spring immediately to mind:

1. the judiciary
2. Air Malta and its pilots
3. Yana Mintoff and the land she sold for EUR3.6 million to Charles Polidano and Simone’s cousins, the Cinis of Steel Structures Ltd

Kerrrr-ching.

Robert Musumeci (left, in white specs) and Magistrate Consuelo Herrera, who expects to be made a judge when Joseph is prime minister, and then whisked off as Malta’s nominee to the European Court of Human Rights.

Musumeci is another loser who seeks popularity. He is only following in Bundy’s footsteps. Basta jkollhom il-“programm” taghhom. It’s the only way they can become popular, imsieken.

  2. Adrian says:

Finally Musumeci has found his place. I am sure he never really belonged to the PN.

  3. Johann Camilleri says:

You mean Joe Mifsud doesn’t think Joseph Muscat is all that?

I assumed they were best buddies.

[Daphne – Then your assumption was completely wrong.]

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

Joe Mifsud lost the will to live when Arafat died. He then more or less retired from public life.

      • Alfred Bugeja says:

Actually Baxxter, I know for certain that they tried to make Dr. Mifsud’s life hell when he starting co-hosting that show, complete with threats to his family and all. There was also pressure to stop him from writing his weekly article in L-Orizzont.

He certainly got a taste of “min mhux magħna kontra tagħna” from the Labour machine. I would treat the man with a little bit more respect now that he’s seen the light.

[Daphne – What light? If he stills writes for L-Orizzont, that means he’s still going to vote Labour. If he doesn’t plan to vote Labour, he should stop writing for L-Orizzont.]

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

You people are so gullible. “Threats to his family”. In what form?

If a threat is credible and criminal, you can always go to the police. If not, then brush it away.

“Make his life hell”. Is he destitute? Unemployed? Maimed for life?

As the Poet said, “Get thee a life.”

Me thinks they should change the name of that show from Inkontri to Intricci.

    • Phili B. says:

How can Joe Mifsud gain respect after all the diatribe he used to vomit in Norman Hamilton’s Bla Agenda.

Mela vera ninsew jew? He never saw the real light, only the limelight in the form of a breakfast show.

  5. Stingray says:

Min bellahhielek li Joseph Muscat mar jitkarrab lill-Joe Mifsud, il-portavoce ta l-isqof ultra konservattiv ta Ghawdex Mario. Allahares.

[Daphne – I don’t reveal my sources, but they are invariably pretty good. Pop in and ask Joseph one day.]

  6. Randon says:

‘Robert Musumeci (left, in white specs)’.

Do you really think you needed to point him out for us? Don’t we all know who is that infamous and notorious fellow (ex-DJ)?

Daphne please show some respect for your readers’ intelligence.

[Daphne – I’m sorry. I keep forgetting that Labour voters don’t do irony.]

  7. carlos says:

I think that Joe Mifsud learned a lot from Guido de Marco who treated him with great respect. He even accompanied Dr de Marco on trips abroad. Surely he was better treated by the Nationalist Party than he was by Labour.

  8. 500EUROS says:

stop blocking me you fucked up bitch!!!!

And then you speak of freedom of speech… pathetic

[Daphne – Is it necessary to be sexually violent and misogynistic so as to support Malta’s most feminist party in history?]
