I’m afraid I fail to see the humour in this. The guy is about to drag us back to 1987, and there’s nothing remotely funny in that from where I’m standing.

In the event that the President calls on the opposition to form a government, can the leader of the opposition in all honesty say that he is ready when it is known that the party doesn’t have a political manifesto?
Joseph Muscat has been four years at the helm of the Labour party and one of his first duties was to ensure that his party was prepared precisely for this eventuality. Being an alternative government carries duties and obligations.
Joseph mhux lest! Fejn hi l-accountability tieghek?
Mr. Privitera, for the time being, Dr. Gonzi’s political manifesto is the one presented in 2008 and accepted by a majority of the Maltese electorate.
Labour does not have a manifesto because its ‘Bidu Gdid’ was rejected by the electorate in 2008. In any case, Labour’s manifesto was ‘infested’ with mistakes and misprints, we were told by Labour.
So you do agree that Joseph is not ready yet! Or perhaps can it be that he is afraid to reveal them?
Can we be sure Joseph Muscat will not resolve to the evil socialist policies of the past?
Should we have unemployment under a labour government, or an economic crisis of some sort, will Joseph resort to a command economy again?
Will he deny the validity of property rights and say that property is communally owned and that it is acceptable to reduce the independence of the individual if this is claimed in the collective interest?

Here’s hoping I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Absolutely astounding, but wait, maybe not.
Prostate trouble, and at such a young age.
Eddy Privitera might offer a tip or two, seeing as he’s always hanging around Franco’s blog.
Another good point,.Baxxter. I’m sure he can hang around, but I doubt he can stand up.
H.P.Baxter: Why don’t you too ? Scared ?? As you see I am not scared of “hanging around” Daphne’s blog. And the more of your ilk, the merrier for me !
Jaħasra veru sfortunat it-tifel għax anke l-pipi qed iġġegħlu “jbati” ħafna.
More likely hemorrhoids.
Let’s pass the hat round, and buy him some Pampers.
Aunt Hetty: You’ll need those “pampers” when the election result is announced !

Koko orright thanks god.
John :”kOKO”: This is what I think happens to some of you when you hear Franco and John Dalli revealing more GonziPN “secrets” !
Where pipì is the butt of Boris’s joke, of course.

Village; Does gonzi have a political manifesto ? If yes, why doesn’t he tell us what’s in it ?
Anyway, what Gonzi puts in his manifesto, IL-POPLU JRID IKUN L-ICWEC FID-DINJA BIEX DIN ID-DARBA JEMMNU !!!!!

Mintoff’s legacy will linger on!
Ever thought that ‘pipi’ might be an acronym?
You got it in one. I think he’s complaining of suffering from the Pesky Involute Pecker Incarnation syndrome.
Actually, ‘Mi scappa la Pipi’ was a song by Pippo FRANCO.
