There are aspects of this man which are very Franco-esque.

It’s uncanny: I was thinking exactly the same thing. If John Dalli thinks that he will ever be PN leader, he’s got another one coming.
This paragon of social justice, this champion of social measures, this paladin of the rights of the poor is “inkwetat” because of the “economy of the funnel” (ekonomija tal-lembut) “fejn il-gid mhux qed jitqassam ghax il-gid flok imur ghand il-poplu imur ghand il-ftit”. Imma kif ma jisthix? Him. A millionaire pooh-poohing Gonzi just becuase, according to this social superhero, the wealth generated is not permeating all social classes and strata but going to the privileged few. In other words, variations on a theme of “hbieb tal-hbieb”.
John Dalli, people like you and your ilk should stop and think if you are really concerned about the well-being and the quality of life of the Maltese. If he really has it at heart, well, he should just stop his shoddy attempts at putting spokes in the wheels. Unless, of course, he is merely a self-centred power-hungry spoilt brat who will not stop stamping his foot before he brings Gonzi crashing down.
But don’t worry John Dalli. Nobody will vote YOU in to “serve” as PN leader. You have shown where your loyalties lie and certainly they do not lie with the Nationalist Party.

If Dalli is dreaming of getting to the top of the PN via Norman Hamilton and Super One, he too has lost it.
I do not believe he has.

My feeling is that J. Dalli BA wants to split the party a la Mintoff’s debacle with Boffa.
The Evil Twins could well be his acolytes and I would not be surprised if Joseph Muscat is in on the action. The cake has to be split after all.
If he had the craft, he’d keep which to split to himself. I’d eye the one with the weaker leader.
