Can Carmelo Abela get his facts right? The increase was over four years and not every year.He is quoting the prime minister incorrectly or it is a case of bad reporting.
I am not a great fan of Obama, but this clip describes our PL spot on.
The irony is that Obama has governed the US through one of its worst economic periods and is set to be confirmed, while Gonzi has guided Malta through the same economic turmoil with success and, according to the polls, is predicted to be replaced.
Of more direct interest, why doesn’t Muscat tell us how he is going to manage at least to maintain the economic well being of the Maltese economy which is relatively still enjoying good performance while the world economy is experiencing such heavy swells?
Spot on!

“Mr Fenech said the minimum wage had risen by €1,000 over the past four years.”

“Indeed, since 2008, the minimum wage in Malta increased by €1,000 a year.”

And the replacement hasn’t got a clue.
The result in the USA is still uncertain. Many countries are changing governments as we have seen even in Europe – the latest being Georgia.
A must read. Joe Debono Grech at his best.

How depressing, and to think he’ll be telling us what to do in a few months’ time. God, take me now!
[Daphne – Sorry, but I’ve got a headache.]
I have a feeling that you asked Obama to say those precise words to hit our poor young Joseph.
[Daphne – Yes, he’s a new recruit to the Evil Click, don’t you know.]
Then there’s these three, I bet Joseph will claim he called them here.

It will be absolutely interesting listening to what they’ll have to say about Malta’s performance and finances.
I have a feeling that somebody manipulated Obama’s teleprompter.
Hilarious!
I can’t see Joseph Muscat copying Obama on this bit.
Do you think Muscat will hate Obama from now on?
He cannot. How can he when his Michelle copies Obama’s?
Tutto il mondo e paese. Obama should ask that question to himself – what does he plan to do in the next 4 years?
Of more direct interest, why doesn’t Muscat tell us how he is going to manage at least to maintain the economic well being of the Maltese economy which is relatively still enjoying good performance while the world economy is experiencing such heavy swells?
Sorry DCG, but I prefer FD’s blog :-)
Does anyone know how his nickname of “il Guy” came about?
