I have abandoned all hope

Here’s somebody who’s got the wrong end of the stick and thinks that Franco Debono really IS getting married (presumably, to me).
What is the POINT, dear readers? I’m having a massive existential crisis here.

Do send us a postcard from your honeymoon boathouse villegiatura and let us know how you’re getting on.
[Daphne – Watching television fuq fold-out siggu in a boathouse. Well, what is life without new experiences. I look forward to fighting his mother over who gets to iron those Big Pony shirts. She can win.]
Daphne, tinsiex tiehu mieghek labra u hajt tat-tixlil. Jaf ikollok bzonnhom biex tipprepara l-hasi.
He’s trolling, idiot.
Your existential crisis can also be referred to as a mid-life crisis.
[Daphne – Then it’s been going on since my 20s, Mr Borg.]
He MUST be taking the piss.

Maybe he thinks it’s a modern version of The Taming of The Shrew in reverse roles.
Yeah right, he’ll go far, he’s already far enough gone! The man is hated by more than half the population and is being ridiculed by the rest.
‘The man will go far in life.’ Yes, go far, as far away as possible.
Erm… congratulations are in order, Daphne. You landed yourself a young, strapping rooster, there!
(not to mention he is so much better looking than Austin gatt)
[Daphne – Pushing 40 isn’t young, I’m not into younger men, and most women will tell you that Dr Gatt is far more appealing than this extremely unattractive man.]
Joseph Muscat thinks he is young, and he too is pushing 40.
Have a large drink to steady the nerves.
Just picture handsome Franco at the end of the aisle, and you’ll be fine.
I just hope, for your sake, that he doesn’t run to mummy before he says ‘I do’.
[Daphne – Toqghodli brajz?]
“The man will go far”
Well, I – and many others – wish he would go further and further, preferably away.

Methinks he’s taking the P.
Oh dear, you and Franco would make the worst couple ever. The marriage wouldn’t last very long. He’d end up with a wrung neck faster than it takes to say “I do”.
Of course my comment is not literal so Franco, don’t get your knickers in a twist. I find the thought of the two of you as a couple beyond hilarious.
Don’t despair.
That he is believed to be a man of spades of courage with heart and soul in the right place is infinitely more worrying.
And the Miizzis are in the good company of the esteemed Lino Spiteri, as was expressed months ago.
On second thoughts, maybe you’re right.
That someone thinks Franco is getting married soon is bad enough. But that Franco lets this comment go unchecked shows his state of mind at the moment.
Daphne, x’ser taghmel b’idejk.
Tghaggilx.
Qis mitt darba u aqta’ darba.
Poor Trevor Lorenzo.
Go with the flow Daphne and enjoy the ride.
Just think of all the great stories you will have to tell your grandchildren.
LOL … about your “massive existential crisis”! How aptly put. You have my sympathy.
According to Maltatoday’s latest survey a substantial 14% of current Labour voters do not think their party has the best policies for the country,
But they will still vote Labour. How more exasperating can this get?
“The man will go far in life” according to Mr Mizzi. However I do not think he will go as far as his residence’s doorstep very soon cos the looks that people in their right senses will be giving him will damage his ego (if he has one).
I hope he does not take this as a threat and summon me before Parliament for breach of privilege since he now seems to be enjoying his latest discovery. Not that I mind being in the great company of ABC. I really pity Mr Speaker.
Fl-artiklu tieghu ta’ l-1 ta’ Ottubru 2012, “Happy Christmas Gambler Gonzi” Franco kiteb hekk (tieni paragrafu):
“Lawrence ‘DCG’ Gonzi ghal kollox jasal. Jidher li qed jaghmlulu hafna pasta ma wiccu biex jghatti l-hofor . . .”
Veru weggaghni lili dan il-kumment ghax ghadni qatt ma smajt lil Lawrence Gonzi jinsulta lil Franco jew jghajru b’xi difett fiziku li ghandu.
Qatt ma rah wiccu fil-mera Franco? Veru m’hemmx fejn jinzel aktar fil-baxx fil-mibgheda tieghu lejn Dr Gonzi. Dan se jibqa’ jahseb li ghandu d-dritt li jwegga’ s-sentimenti ta’ min jidhirlu hu imma mbaghad allahares xi hadd jghid xi haga fuqu?
Issa ghandu ghalfejn iwegga s-sentimenti tal-familja ta’ Dr Gonzi u ta’ hafna Maltin?
Mela sewwa, jien neduka lit-tfal tieghi biex dawn l-affarijiet ma jghiduhomx u mbaghad jigi dan li jiftahar li hu l-pampalun tad-demokrazija u tad-drittijiet tal-bniedem u jaghti ezempju hazin lill-uliedi meta jaqraw il-blog tieghu.
Mizzi is just pulling his leg. Read the rooster line in the first post and you’ll get it.
The man will go far in life – as long as it’s far away from parliament as possible, and for good.
Cock-a-doodle-dooooooooo!

Well, the honourable Eddie Fenech Adami thought that Franco Debono will go far in politics as Franco was hand picked by Eddie’s Jesuit alumni to be the new future Giorgio Borg Olivier.
Since the PN has not turfed Franco Debono out of the party then he must serve some hidden use to them.

Wicc ta’ Laburist minn dejjem.
Daphne, m’ghandekx bzonn taghmel alarm fuq il-komodina la tizzewweg lil Franco ghax mas-sitta ta’ filghodu jibda jidden.
