Isn’t Franco Debono taking his pony thing a bit too far?
I read in The Times today that he is defence counsel to the man who stole two Shetland ponies, sold them on, and then spent a month telling his wife to say he’s not at home when the police called, while hiding in a hole in the wall behind a wardrobe, where they found him when they got a search warrant and went in.
Some top criminal lawyers have really thrilling lives.

Apart from that, it is NOT a news portal such as the online version of the Times. I.E. if you MUST visit, that is entirely of your own accord – but it is Daphne who decides what topics she wants to bring into discussion.
Of course, Eddie – you could always just sod off back to annoy all and sundry at the Times. Or to Labour’s impeccable and unbiased Maltastar. Maybe even to our other new buddy’s blog – Franco Debono.

She’s been harping on the fact that it was a colossal mistake to send Dalli to Brussels, as she had lambasted the Prime Minister for voting against divorce legislation and, before that, why it had taken him so long to make Malta’s position clear with respect to the Libyan conflict.
You wouldn’t understand, but Daphne licks no boots and kisses no asses. That’s why most of us like to come here so often – to know what’s really happening, to get the juicy backstories and the details. Because Daphne can join the dots and most importantly, she has a sense of humour so totally lacking in everything else we read..

Poor Franco is still trying to say the Dalli issue is a national conspiracy involving RCC and the no confidence vote, and Rita Schembri. He watches too many telenovelas, or he needs to get out a bit more.

Eddy I agree with you for once. However Daphne runs the blog and she has the right and prerogative to include and exclude anything she wants. Why not start a blokk yourself so we can then compare your hits against hers ?
