The Evil Twins are seriously deluded

Jeffrey Pullicino has started to look like a village matron. All he needs is to start dyeing his hair again, only purpley-plum this time. And a pair of ski-pants or Lycra shorts won’t go amiss, either. Daqxejn portmoni fl-armpit u tlaqna.

One of them says he will not do the Labour Party any favours (this when he has spent the last four years doing just that), and the other claims he is loyal to the concerns of his constituents (this when he voted against the party whip and resigned from the party, even though he was voted in on the party ticket).

Two miserable little jerks who have made complete and utter messes of their lives and now have little to look forward to, except a life of caged birds and petty crooks, in one case, and of Botox, pulling teeth and sordid socialising with the chavvier end of the demi-monde, in the other.

Lovely. No wonder they both look so very thrilled with their new lives.

In The Times today:

Rebel MPs Franco Debono and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando yesterday took Transport Minister Austin Gatt’s offer to resign with a pinch of salt and told him to make way if he really loved the party.

Both said they intended to stick to their parliamentary seats “until the end”, despite their differences with the Nationalist Party. They also said they would never cross the floor to Labour.

Dr Debono said: “I am much more of a Nationalist than Austin Gatt and will never do any favours for the Opposition. Labour’s trump card at this moment is Dr Gatt himself who, despite all his fiascos, wants to retain his ministerial seat even though he has been embarrassing the Government for a long time.”

Dr Pullicino Orlando said: “It is obviously up to him (Dr Gatt) to do what he feels is right and I will not engage in puerile arguments with him. My seat was entrusted to me by the electorate and Dr Gatt may rest assured that, even when it comes to the car parks privatisation fiasco, I am merely echoing the concerns of my constituents.”

“I will remain loyal to the mandate given to me by the electorate till the last day of this legislature and my behaviour during the meeting of the House Business Committee, in which I gave my full support to the suggestions put forward by the Leader of the House, is ample proof of this,” the Żebbuġ dentist said.

How difficult can it be to understand that you abandoned that loyalty the moment you switched from your PN seat to an Independent one?

It was PN voters that gave you your parliamentary seat, you egoistic and self-centred m’f**ker.

If the situation was not so tragic, I would be laughing my head off at these two losers.

These two want to give us the impression that they are being difficult to the government because they are putting the country above their own selfish interest.

They really think most people are stupid. They are consumed with hatred.

Anyone I talk to makes fun of them.

Pullicino and Debono: a brace of liars.

Time will tell that you have proved yourselves utter fools too. The only defect in the PN is that it misread your opportunism and ego for some promising political qualities.

Ja ucuh ta’ Mintoffjani telliefa w imdejqa fl-opposizjoni.

    Mintomx ta’ idejn Gonzi.

    • Mela issa anke deputati nazzjonalisti saru “Mintoffjani” anki wara li Mintoff miet ! Mela ghandu biex joqghod taparsi jidhak Lawrence Gonzi !

Gonzi used JPO before the election and than got rid of him afterwards before the truth about the Mistra was made public.

JPO is pulling out all the stops to keep Labour happy and to be kept on as chairman of the MCST. And Franco Debono – who knows?

  10. Min Weber says:

Yet, the Franco Footnote (in the Histories of Malta) serves primarily to cast light on the Opposition.

There are only two ways of looking at the CMB motion. Either Franco was right, or Franco was wrong.

In both cases, it reflects badly on the Opposition.

If Franco was right, and CMB was not a good minister, then why was the Opposition virtually silent for 4 years? In other words, why was it an incompetent Opposition?

If, on the other hand, Franco was wrong, and CMB was a good minister, then the Opposition was the most lurid opportunistic lizard inhabiting these isles.

In both cases, Franco unwittingly exposed the Opposition for what it is: incompetent and/or opportunistic.

In other words, he strengthened Gonzi’s firm hands. Bravu Baggu!

By chance I heard an interview on UK radio with Jon Ronson, an investigative journalist who wrote the book “The Psychopath Test” (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Psychopath-Test-Jon-Ronson/dp/0330492276).

In his book he talks about a diagnostic tool that helps psychologists identify whether a person is a psychopath. Essentially if the person hits 15 out of 20 points on a checklist he is defined as a psychopath. These are the 20 points:

    1. Glibness/superficial charm
    2. Grandoise sense of self worth
    3. Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom
    4. Pathological lying
    5. Cunning/Manipulative
    6. Lack of remorse or guilt
    7. Shallow affect (genuine emotion is short-lived and egocentric)
    8. Callous/Lack of empathy
    9. Parasitic Lifestyle
    10. Poor behavioural controls
    11. Promiscuous sexual behaviour
    12. Early behavioural problems
    13. Lack of realistic long term-goals
    14. Impulsivity
    15. Irresponsibility
    16. Failure to accept responsibility for own actions
    17. Many short-term marital relationships
    18. Juvenile delinquency
    19. Revocations of conditional release
    20. Criminal versatility

Well, think about the behaviour of the “evil twins” and judge for yourself.
