A couple of months away from an election, and he’s still hoping to be made minister by Mr Hitler

Who has realised Cabinet is at Minus 3 ?
An already small cabinet is currently at Minus 3.
– when John Dalli became Commissioner he was not replaced in cabinet and the cabinet decreased by ONE
– when Carm Mifsud Bonnici had to resign after no confidence vote cabinet had decreased by TWO
– now that Tonio Borg is on study leave, cabinet has decreased by THREE
Currently Cabinet is at Minus Three.

He must be assuming that the more motions of no confidence he opts to pass, the bigger his chances are of getting that elusive Cabinet position, because only his royal highness can save Malta.
Unfortunately, his assumptions reek of him being, well, delusional.
Considering the proximity of the elections, could it be that he is yearning for the Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda?
This guy lives in a world of his own.
Completely cut off from reality.
Just like Lawrence, you mean ?
It’s called the ‘Twilight Zone’. The ‘Monkey’s Paw’, would be fitting.
Alice had her Wonderland,
Peter was in Neverland
and Frankie lives in Cuckooland.
Well, somebody’s minus a few marbles
For Franco Debono the ministers are connected to a non return valve.
Franco reminds me of the cartoon ‘Roadrunner’, always placing booby traps and ending in them himself.
What’s most important is that Franco Debono will NEVER be a minister, unless 1) he joins the Labour skip, 2) the elves elect him, and then 3) Labour PM appoints him minister.
Would that make him 10th in line to the throne twice removed?
David S. So I guess you will quickly make an exit to one of your favourite EU states in case the ” labour skip” – as you termed it – wins the election, won’t you ? Or perhaps you will remain here but hidden from view ?
Is that a threat Mr.Privitera?
Mela qomt ergajt? Isma minni. Mur orqod.
So typically Labour. Min mhux maghna kontra taghna.
Il-PL fil-gvern tal-laburisti biss. X’reformation dik ta partit modern eh?
He is the single, major barrier to any other minister being appointed as a replacement. Picture the tantrums if anyone other than Franco Debono is appointed to cabinet.

How about filling all three Ministerial vacancies by one single almighty and omniscient megalomaniac (self-appointed) who shall remain nameless?
Reading between the lines reveals a really sad but self-inflicted personal tragedy.
No one could have avoided it but Franco himself (with help).
He has plainly and simply fallen victim to an obsession.
The Prime Minister should appoint him as Minister against Oligarchies for the rest of the legislature just for fun.
Franco, before opening your mouth check what the Constitution states and the facts.
The Constitution (art 79(1)) states that Cabinet is made up of the Prime Minister and the Ministers. Following the 2008 elections Cabinet was made up of the Prime Minister and 8 ministers. Today it is made up of the Prime Minister and 10 ministers.
Franco is not reelected – niehdu r-ruh.
