Do they add the “No” votes with the abstentions in the EU Parliament to determine the result of a voting session?
They had better make the rules clear before Alfred Sant starts pressing the “No” and “Abstain” buttons simultaneously.
This is the man who people have so much to thank him for, and now they want a change. I ask again, a change to what exactly? From what I know.

This Alfred Sant stunt reminds me of the Putin – Medvedev swap.
It is simply unbelievable how a JM with such big aspirations of becoming the PM of Malta, can project such an idea to the public in general! They both think we are all makku!
Alfred Sant should take up fishing or some other hobby other then represent us in the European Parliament!
I’ve gone through this and a view other 2008 PN vids on youtube and realised how nothing from that ‘misprint’ manifesto has changed, except for the excuses. I’ve noted a few comparisons on my blog if anyone would like to read about them.
Dr Franco Debono has now admitted that he “is the only one to have the GALL to stand up to Austin Gatt”. Someone should kindly explain to him what “having the gall” means, to make better user of any ghost writer he may have or to engage a new one if he hasen’t any. To “have the gall” means to be impudent” – not that FD has not already given many examples of impudence.
Is there a limit to how much money a potential candidate is supposed to spend to promote himself?
Plenty of letterboxes in several electoral districts seem to have received of late, promotional material in the form of small glossy pamphlets with a list of Edward Scicluna’s achievements.

Been ‘out of circulation’ for a while, so I’m not sure this comment has been made before. It looks to me that Joseph is giving Sant a golden handshake – Brussels is the only place where Sant will not be a threat to Muscat as PM. Memories of Mintoff’s last coup over Sant – which cost him the government – come to mind.

Dr Tonio Borg spoke on TV to a very wide audience and was applauded.
