U mur aqbez ‘l hemm, Herr Flick

Count down the days to 10 March, dear readers. Here’s your finance minister, Karmenu Il-Guy (tad-dementia) and your minister of industry, Leo Brincat (the one with the fabulous jumper).

That escapee from a Nazi death camp film-set, Leo Brincat (Herr Flick tal-SS), is busy rallying the troops on Facebook.

Jaqaw xi necrophiliac iddisprat wahda sew tefghalu xi Rohypnol god-Diet Coke, halli jirrejpjah?

Miskin, he forgot everything. He even forgot he formed part of Mintoff’s and KMB’s cabinets in the miserable 1980s – you know, when Labour was SO busy putting the people first and Labour last.

The effing hypocrite. Here’s Leo Brincat in government with Dom Mintoff, putting the people before the Labour Party:

Muscat says he wants unity in the country. What he really wants is for everyone to say that he is right and the PN is wrong and nothing bad ever happened.

He knows people won’t say this, so he pushes his unity message and then acts like he doesn’t know why many PN supporters don’t like the idea.

Here’s what he can do to unite the country: Condemn Mintoff, tell all those Mintoffjani that their God was in fact a tyrant, and drop all of the candidates that were part of that government.

Honestly, the day a PL leader does that would be the day I might actually feel like I have a choice. It’s not fear of the 80s that makes me not trust the PL, it’s there blatant denial of their past, a past which still dictates their present otherwise they would not have a problem with denouncing Mintoff.

You hit the nail on the head, Edward.

Thanks to the PN’s huge investment in education and their somewhat overdone reconciliation post 1987, I think it will be hard to reach the 1979 – 1987 stage where half the population laughed themselves sick at the sight of The Times building burning down and countless other scandals.

It’s unimaginable now – no thanks to Joseph or to Alfred Sant. But it’s the way the bastards deny it ever happened that gets my goat.

Il-Pertit Karmenu Vella qed jindirizza il-poplu Malti waqt li fil-karrozza Ministerjali tieghu kienet tingarr l-arma li x-xufier tieghu spara darbtejn fuq kazini Nazzjonalisti u qatel lil Raymond Caruana u biex zgur jinheba dan il-kaz ghamlu frame-up fuq persuna innocenti.

Ghandu ragun Joe Grima jghid li hallew pajjiz sinjur imma fil-vjolenza u fil-korruzzjoni.

Here is a brief political history of Leo Brincat and how he puts people first.

When the price of oil was $12 per barrel, he and Alfred Sant doubled the price of water and electricty.

And he was the Finance Minister after Lino Spiteri’s resignation. In 2 years, Labour introduced 33 taxes.

Leo Brincat puts people first. To pay for his government’s financial blunders.

    • Harry Purdie says:

Ah yes, Herr Flick the prick. In 1996 a useless bank clerk suddenly becomes a useless Finance Minister bidding a useless PM’s futile and disastrous attempt to replace VAT.

Now relegated to ‘tree hugger’ status, sniffing out noxious and obnoxious fumes, mostly emanating from Labour HQ.

  4. Chris Ripard says:

Ovvja hux: put the person first, then tell him to bend over and shag ‘im.

  5. Riya says:

    ‘AHNA NARMAW IL-PARTITARJI’

Mhux jarmawhom biss izda kienu jhallsuhom bhal ma’ kienu imhallsin tad-Dockyard biex meta jfettilu Mintoff u KMB jghidulhom biex johorgu jkissru u jitterrorizaw lin-nies innocenti bil-hadid u bil-ktajjen fuq it-trakkijiet.

Mhux ezatt bhal ma’ kien jaghmel Gaddafi.

    Lill-Partitarji biss ramaw tal-Labour?

Mela ha ninsew kif kienu armati il-Pulizija biex isawtu lin-Nazzjonalisti.

I think we all should now concentrate on studying ways and means to call back to the fold all those who for some reason or other felt that they should turn their backs on the Nationalist Party.

Now that Muscat has lost his golden chance of roping in the floaters, by voting AGAINST the budget, we should all concentrate on seeing how foolish it would be to put Muscat in government, seeing that he could no see through this simple ploy; let alone, now, seeing through the complex way of governing a country.

“Here’s your finance minister, Karmenu Il-Guy (tad-dementia) and your minister of industry, Leo Brincat ”

Wasn’t it the other way round?

[Daphne – Same difference. They were both crap. And believe me, I know, because I was alive and working in Malta at the time. In any case, my point was that Dementia Vella is now gearing up to be the next finance minister.]
